Throwback to this 1986 K10 we built!
Hello, it's the girl who adopted the Cutemon here. I managed to get myself a Digivice. After my roommate burned herself while cooking dinner the other night, Cutemon took it upon himself to heal her. She was grateful, and doesn't mind him as much anymore. He's still not allowed to mess with her stuff, but at least we're making progress!
Oh that's lovely! Glad to hear they're getting along! Hopefully Cutemon and your roommate will learn to cohabitate well!

Opinions on Digimon x humans relationships?
Oh wow, we accidentally let this one sit in the ask box for a long while. I'm gonna do my best to answer this one as your friendly local poly pansexual aromantic but keep in mind that making sweeping statements about what is and isn't okay for people to do with their lives is way out of my preview.
I think they're alright, as long as everyone is consenting and of the appropriate age/growth stage to consent. I personally think the most ethical model for these relationships is for them to end or be put on pause at the end of the Digimon's life cycle and for them to go off and potentially return to their human partner once they've reached maturity, but that's just my opinion.
Also, I'm sad I can't answer multiple asks at once, I saw there was a pair of asks from a Tamer and their partner Digimon about being in love with each other. Not going to put y'all on blast if you don't want it but my genuine advice is find a way that allows you two to continue your relationship in whatever way will make you both comfortable and eliminate any potential dangers to both parties. Have fun, prioritize your own safety, and enjoy the time you have with the people around you no matter what they may mean to you
I/We used to play into the stereotypes sometimes because it was funny. People probably thought Amie was a great tamer (which she is, bless her) for having both of my components be in the same room without fighting. The whole thing was incredibly silly. - Germaine
Sgwuehdjs that's adorable! I know human misconceptions about Digimon species can get really annoying, so I'm glad y'all were able to have some fun with it
Digivices seem to have some pretty helpful features. But they DO make me wonder why I can’t just use one myself. What HAPPENS when a digimon tries to use one of these things?
Maybe I should try it and find out…

Go ahead! A digivice is just a piece of machinery, same as a car or a washing machine, so there's no reason a digimon couldn't operate one! Granted, they are built with human anatomy in mind so your claws may get in the way but that isn't something a little modding couldn't fix! We have a resource post on our blog detailing different models of digivice, but we recommend all beginners start with a docker! It's my personal favorite out of my collection and it's the easiest model to modify. Have fun and let us know if anything happens!
