Hi Tep I have an absurd question for you but a friend brought it up in our Neopets discord server and I knew I had to ask you for your expert Catholic opinion. If a priest or other religious figure has taken a vow of chastity would it be breaking that vow to finger blast someone so long as they aren’t turned on by the act. Like you know just helping a buddy out.

but for the record, in my Expert Catholic Opinion, yes that would be breaking a vow of chastity because it's still a Sexual Act even if there's no erotic appeal for the person doing the action
traditionally, the three components of an action with moral valence are the object, intention, and circumstance, with the object being the act itself, the intention being the goal. circumstances are self-explanatory. If the object, intention, or circumstances are sexual in nature, the action itself is. According to Aquinas.
