Went flower picking for the most beautiful flowers, though the real flower is Yogurt.
Saw this lovely little garter recently, spooked him off before I could pet or pick him up </3
The things they don't tell you about pet snakes
Like, look at this beautiful man! I had to move for university and of course he came with me. My overgrown shoelace is so excited about everything happening outside his terrarium. He is stalking my every move, which is adorable. I'm feeling so loved by the fact he's interested in what I'm doing outside his terrarium <3
Why is that? I'm a giant doing weird new things outside his terrarium, and instead of reacting to it by being scared and suspicious of something as weird as a giant changing bedsheets. He is instead curious and would seemingly love to explore outside his terrarium.
Unfortunately I can't let my son explore freely, yet. I haven't snake proofed most things, and it's not safe for him to explore since things like the kitchenware cardboard box is full of potentially dangerous things and he's an overgrown shoelace that doesn't understand what a knife is.
Yet some people have the audacity to claim that snakes and reptiles are boring since all they do is hide and sleep. Nope, this absolute crackhead of a noodle is quite often up to something, just at dawn and dusk so I'm quite often asleep.
Granted, he's not like a dog who seeks out affection, or even like a cat that enjoys hanging out with you by simply sharing a space. Instead, he understands I'm not a threat and is curious about what I do, which feels way more special.
Heck, he even understands my schedules and was confused when I worked the night shift delivering newspapers.
Like, he stared at me like this for the two hours before I went to work since I was awake for two hours longer than I should be lmao
Anyway, I am feeling so loved by this overgrown shoelace.
sorry im late at posting my snakes
