Parade of Nations – Republic of Congo
French: République du Congo // English: Republic of Congo // Japanese: コンゴ共和国 (Kongo)
The Republic of Congo formed its National Olympic Committee in 1964 and participated in its first Olympics as a country at the 1964 Tokyo Summer Olympics. They haven’t hosted any Olympic Games, but they’ve participated in 12 Summer Games and no Winter Games. The Olympic sports in which the Republic of Congo has competed are Athletics and Swimming.

“The jungle of the rainforest and the congo peafowl and elephants that live there are depicted in vibrant colors. Also, in the image of wishing for peace and valuing the unique aesthetic sense of "Sape", we adopted stripes and large checks as a bold composition. On the ribbon, I wrote the slogan of the Republic of the Congo, "unification, labor, progress.”[1]

“The flow of the Sangha River is woven with real gold, and the symbolic odor mahogany is layered on top of it, and the color scheme of the national flag is woven luxuriously.” [1]
