I have been having so much fun making playlists for everyone! I see a lot of posts from younger peeps who haven't listened to music made before they were born. Folks who don't know where to start, or how to find what they really want. I've been listening to music in pretty much every genre for 50+ years, and I have super eclectic taste. I want to help people find the bangers they're craving, to help them expand their musical horizons. Also, I'm disabled and dealing with chronic pain, so this gives me a distraction and a way to do something good to brighten peoples day. If you'd like your very own custom playlist, here's how it works: Send me an ask, and tell me what you're interested in! Examples: " I don't know much about the 60s, and I'd like to know more." " I want happy music/angry music/ music that makes you think/music that makes you dance." " I like this band/genre of music, and I want more like that." " I don't get why people listen to this kind of music...educate me." " I only listen to this one kind of music. I want to expand my taste, but I don't know where to start." " I want a list of the best/most important songs of each decade." " I want a playlist all about cryptids." If you can imagine it, I can make it for you! You'll have the link to your playlist usually in an hour or two. If it's going to be longer, I'll let you know. All I ask is that you really listen to the music...Sit down with it and listen without scrolling tumblr or texting/messaging peeps. Make listening an active experience, not background noise.
