I miss my kids.

one of my kids is married and one of them is dead and so many of them are growing up and living their lives and i have loved so much and so hard and i just

One of my residents last year passed away. That makes six people I’ve known in some fashion dead this semester.

I am so tired.

I’m going to quit my job and the fact I feel nothing but relief breaks my heart.

That said, I haven’t felt this happy in a while.

Literally half-tempted to text something along the lines of "The only payment I need is that you take care of my girl" to the person managing the building I was in charge of last year. I feel like the old captain of a ship what IS this

i pray to every god that they change this policy next year in a way that doesn't end up with me and every single one of my colleagues scrambling and micromanaging and sending passive-aggressive/flat out aggressive emails only to end up with pithy responses for a week minimum because if not i may let loose a multitude of small yet menancing mammmals upon the entirety of the higher ups' offices.

27 December 12- So we're on tumblr, too...

Do Residence Halls usually have tumblrs? No...welp here we go! This is the official tumblr blog for Kenefick Hall-a Creighton University Residence Hall.  

While a bit further off the beaten path, it's more than worth the trip. Conveniently located on Creighton's East Shuttle Route, this 16 story apartment style residence hall fosters not only a sense of community for its residents, but also offers increased independence.

It's not uncommon to find students in the lobby at all hours in the newly refurbished study room or gathering together in the spacious K-Fick theater. The lobby floor houses basic amenities such as a large kitchen, laundry, and chapel but also a rec room, gym, study room and theater (complete with projector & screen) available for use at anytime.

Each 2-person apartment is fully equipped with beds, desks, armoires, a couch, a refrigerator, stove, oven and storage space in the kitchenette. So, whether its having the choice to cook your own meals, working out at any hour or watching a movie with friends that appeals to you. Welcome Home to Kenefick Hall!

Community Partner

Our community partner is the North Omaha Boy & Girls Club. The residents of Kenefick participate in weekly community service at the North Omaha Boys & Girls Club. Our students are tutors, mentors, and friends to the Boys and Girls of North Omaha--a partnership that is very rewarding for everyone involved.

Anyway, we'll be using this blog to keep folks updated for new events, fun happenings, RA programs, etc. We'll be re-blogging things we like and find interesting-just like the rest of you tumblr-ers. We aren't a member of a fandom...rather, trying to create our own.
