Happy Saturday! I love this! I started my Genealogy Business to make a difference and do something that I love. My WHY was simple. I wanted to be HERE for my kids... to be the BEST Mom and Researcher I could... and do something helpful, resourceful, meaningful with my life. I wanted to be PRESENT. I wanted to work from the comfort of my home to be accessible to my kids to pick them up from yearbook, track, choir... what have you. I wanted MORE from life... and I am happy to say that I am also doing great work. That makes THIS worth it! My days are always different. I get to walk with my clients ancestor's and put the pieces of their lives together. I get to research what the world looked like in different era's. I get to think about the mundane things... like how the depression was having an impact on families in different locations. I get to be the storyteller for people I have never met before.
