Match day kit arrived in the mail. My last interview is tomorrow. I'm not excited for a computer to decide my fate for the next three years but I'm ready to know where I'm going and start planning.

To be clear, there is surely more than one way to totally blow your medical residency interview but, according to Dr. Brian Radvansky, there is one mistake that seems to top them all. The trouble is most med students don't even know they're making it, but you don't have to.

Interview ready N95 lines and all. Virtual interview season is weird. The interviews last anywhere from 2-7 hours and you only get an itinerary a day or two before if you're lucky enough to get one at all. Sweet but now I'm worried about finishing up my notes once this is over. 2020 is weird and I'm not upset that it's almost over.

You deserve to see how this theoretical journey ends and finally becomes reality.
Took a WHOLE LOTTA magic. But we here. Thanks friends!
I was with my children at a four year-old’s birthday party a few years back when I met the grandfather of the birthday-boy. As it turned out, before retiring, the man had been on the admissions committee of a prestigious California medical school for decades.…Read more ›
