Outfits I think Claire will have in the Veronica remake! 🪽
Remember, this is just for fun! Here are some of my thoughts on what sort of looks I think Claire will get and what she should get, but most likely won’t. This will be kinda long since she has plenty of looks to go through, so let’s get started! ❤️
🪽Outfits Claire will most definitely have 🪽
1. Resident Evil 2 remake
While I’m not a huge fan of this one, I do think she’s most likely going to get this one after you beat the game once. Similar to how Leon got his remake look from RE2R in RE9. It was much harder to obtain in RE4R, and I doubt they’ll go down that road again. Regardless, this skin is already made in the RE Engine, and would be the easiest to port over.
2. OG Code Veronica
While Leon didn’t get his OG attire in RE4R, I have a strong feeling that we’re going to get Claire’s OG look in the remake. It’s a classic, and honestly, she deserves it after they butchered her OG RE2 outfit in the remake.
3. Random
Since capcom has done this before, I think she will get at least two more outfits that will be random. Similar to the photos shown above and referencing Leon’s looks in RE4R (Villain/Hero/Romantic) I’m certain she’ll get something good.
4. Default (No Jacket)
This one is a no-brainer, but I have an inkling that Claire will somehow lose her jacket and it will become a skin to unlock or purchase with points. Capcom has an issue with jackets for some reason. 🤷♀️
🪽Outfits Claire should have, but most likely won’t 🪽
1. Resident Evil 2 (OG)
I really want this look to get justice after it was butchered in the remake. It’s one of my favorites, and it’s iconic. Please if you see this capcom, remake this outfit the right way 🥺🙏
2. Darkside Chronicles
These two versions of Claire’s RE2 and Code Veronica outfits are honestly gorgeous. I know they’re both similar to the OG games, but there’s something about them that I love.
3. Resident Evil Revelations 2
This one is a bit more involved, so I’ll go over the outfits separately.
Default
As you can see, Claire’s look from Revelations 2 is already rendered in the RE Engine. While I doubt they’ll add this one (like how they didn’t add Leon’s pre-rendered RE6 outfit to both RE4R or RE9) I think this one is my most wanted. Not sure what it is about this outfit in particular, it’s just one of my favorites. It might be the boots or the jeans. Maybe both.
Sniper Claire
As for this look, it’s also one of my favorites. However, it was never rendered in for RE:Verse. While it would probably be easy to make, I doubt they would take the time to do so, especially because of the short hair….and because they seem to hate giving Claire gloves. 🤷♀️
Thanks for reading this! Let me know your thoughts on these outfits and/or what else you think they might give Claire in Veronica! 🪽❤️

Overview
In celebration of the Resident Evil franchise’s 25th anniversary, which kicks off in March 2021, Capcom announced Resident Evil Village will include access to a free multiplayer experience titled Resident Evil Re:Verse coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S players can access the game through backwards compatibility.
This thank you bonus to fans features striking comic-style visuals and sets popular Resident Evil characters against each other in four to six-player deathmatch battles in iconic Resident Evil locations. Players can choose from a fan-favorite roster, each with their own unique skillsets to master. When players are defeated in combat, their character respawns by mutating into a bioweapon to enact revenge on their foes. More information on Resident Evil Re:Verse will be shared at a later time.
Resident Evil Village DLC in Development, Re:Verse Releasing Next Month
More than a month after it was meant to release alongside Resident Evil Village, Capcom’s latest venture into competitive online multiplayer in their famed survival-horror series, with Resident Evil Re:Verse, has been confirmed to release next month.
To make things clear this isn't meant to jab at people who have legit and/or understandable gripes and concerns about how the RE3 Remake and the online games Resistance and ReVerse ended up. It's more to remember the fandoms that have FAR WORSE treatment from certain infamous companies. Just ask the Silent Hill fans. All the same I apologize to any RE fan who took offense to it cause trust me that's not my intention.
The Resident Evil ReVerse beta is super goofy. It's ridiculously unbalanced and I'll probably never play it again after today, but it is a chaotic silly mess. Just four Hunter Gammas crammed into a tiny room all spitting acid and tail swiping each until somebody dies kind of a mess. It has that Smash Brothers-y free-for-all thing where, if you're playing it right, nobody stays alive for more than 30 seconds and alliances are gained and lost in the blink of an eye as you weigh petty vengeance against the person that killed you versus taking down the jerk that's actually in the lead.
I highly disagree with the message of BOWs fighting other BOWs. They really should have incentivized killing humans over other monsters once you change. That was always my top priority after turning but, alas, people did not share my high monster moral fiber.
Resident Evil’s Troubled Multiplayer History Inspires Little Hope for Re:Verse
Which begs the question: after over a decade’s worth of attempts to revamp Resident Evil into a competitive multiplayer experience, why does Capcom continue to set aside valuable development time and money into these experiments?
