finally finished our chiss pair. huge huge loredump below. (bases/poses by mellon_soup patreon) (i write a Lot more than i draw but oc mutuals would be neat. hi.)

so. neither of them grew up on csilla. kizit's family was originally on serenno (like two generations back), but moved to a more remote planet on the outer rim as war broke out-- attempting to avoid any of the chaos. however, as the FO/resistance war begins to creep into their area as kizit grows up, her family became involved with the resistance.

aloshte comes from a small group of chiss living in wild space-- west in the illosian cluster. (his third name alludes to this, that area's word for an outsider. directly connected to my original species..) however, as wild space becomes more connected to the wider galaxy, people labeled as ocori (starseekers) left the cluster for the wider world. in aloshte's case specifically, he found himself on the same planet as kizit, taken in safe harbor by the resistance after an altercation.

both kizit and aloshte still have their sight abilities, subscribing to the idea of being in traditional chiss society actually is the cause of sight fading. they ended up meeting in the resistance base there; kizit as a technician and logistics crew, and aloshte still trying to find his place.

however, for reasons unknown to anyone- aloshte defects after a brief, tumultuous friendship with kizit. she thought it was all going fine.. then he just. disappeared. kizit doesn't know, but aloshte found himself working for the first order security bureau after being held in isolation; a precaution against him being a spy. however; premonition is a useful thing in that realm. there's a chance they'll meet again, but this is simply the setup.

(both of them are gender variant, but born female. neither really use labels.)

Amaiya Solace

A resistance pilot known for her impeccable accuracy both aboard her ship and with a blaster and for her quick reaction time. Having been naturally gifted with these talents, the rumor mill has turned up talks about her being “force sensitive” but she denies any rumor that comes her way. Long time friends (and maybe more) with Poe Dameron. She is his right hand person, assisting him in leading the star fighter squadrons. Amaiya is a kind-hearted but fiercely protective person who won’t hesitate to defend her loved ones at a moments notice.
