Ahshhahaya I recently rediscovered this transformers fanfic that was made in commemoration of the 75th anniversary of hiroshima? It's based around the fall of Praxus, a city on Cybertron that was destroyed early in the war. It's a bit rough but, even if you aren't that familiar with the transformers fandom, I'd still recommend it if you aren't too put off by the tags or warnings.

#i admire the author for actually seeing this through to the end #it seems to have been a rough time to research and write #there's no proper way to describe how i feel about this fic but it's so #hhh #i was surprised the first time reading this through #i didn't expect them to handle it really #respectfully?#but they exceeded my expectations and that's properly delightful #i think?#the only thing you'd really need to look up are maybe some time measurements #like breems. orns. vorns. etc #but i'd say most of them are comprehensible from context clues probably?#also . unnecessarily. seekers are a specific kind of transformer that are essentially jets? they get together in these little triads-#aka trines- that usually hang around together. most seekers went on to be decepticons with a few outliers #seekers were typically flightframes native to Vos. which #like Praxus #was a city on cybertron (though it housed almost entirely flightframes. unlike praxus)#again #unnecessary tangent smh
