now this anon sounds more bitter and like clearly telling me a wenclair shipper my ship is "dead". I just think that's rlly funny. Anon idc if my ship isn't canon neither probably is ur ship or whatever! ships ships ships always so messy when it comes to this.

treat each ship with respect (unless the ship morally/lawfully illegal) canon or not, in the end. it is for fun and for queer people a bit of GODDAMN representation we would want in our lives.

((mod note: the reason why i chose alysa and nathan is because they are the two that always acknowledge that they need to improve and work on things, and that they admit, even if nonchalantly, that they need to work harder on their weaknesses, in order to maintain & earn those scores! this is not meant to be political, on either side or meant to call anyone out. and, we both are aware that there’s are a bunch of skaters, from every country that is overscored, in some kind of way, on some kind of level. and, this isn’t to say that they are overscored the most because alysa isn’t even that overscored, and her scores have been quite accurate since the jgpf, and since nathan keeps on showing his improvements on his pcs, at an exponential rate, we can’t really speak on their or anyone else’s scores or how they are being scored, right now, in the moment, until the 2020-21’ season actually starts, if it starts. and finally, we are trying to refrain from being biased or causing drama & fights from happening, no matter what you believe or who’s side you’re on! i know that i shouldn’t have to explain myself, but i know i have to in order to refrain from drama because i know how this fandom can get.))

Not a real question but-I LOVE THE MINI FRUK HEADCANON, I also usually come up with a lot of fruk-engport ideas, because those two have been really important in the life of England, so I think it is inevitable to make both complex and fascinating relationships intersect. I like how you take into account how various countries have influenced England! Relationships are usually complicated, tangled, they happen with the people you least expect and affect you at different levels, it's great to see

I was actually worried that you didn’t wanna see fruk content in an engport ask, so it’s great this worked out. But yes, it’s very important to me that I portray England’s relationships holistically in the real context of his life rather than in isolation. Personally I actually struggle a lot trying to reconciliate Arthur’s relationship with France and Port, because I just adore both pairings, but I also wanna make it realistic and not just have cop-out hcs where they all just live happily ever after, or something.

Tell Me About... Marco Diaz

(This was something I wrote in my notebook before bed last night. I wrote it imagining I was giving an interview for, like, a bump between commercials, or to promote the story if it were a show on Disney. Someday I’ll illustrate this with some concept stuff.) The first thing you need to know about Marco is that he’s not very... cool. And to you that might mean dorky - big, gross glasses, pimples, talks with a lisp... but he’s not that, either. Marco is mostly just a stick-in-the-mud. He’s very naturally grounded, and safe, and likes to follow the rules. He’s the kind of person who likes to brag about mundane things. You’ll never get him to go out partying, but he’ll tell you about his perfect tooth brushing technique, or his grade on a test. Marco’s very detail-oriented. He likes things to be neat and tidy, and perfect, which comes out sometimes as an overbearing, sort of, compulsion for neatness. “What’s His Drive?”

Early on you realize that Marco can quickly default to a sort-of “unlikable know-it-all” if he wants, but Marco doesn’t really like it when people see him like that. He likes being “safe” but hates being the “safe kid,” so he’s always trying to play “by the rules,” but also trying to push outside of his comfort zone. To sort of, you know, try new things, and figure out who he is. That’s part of why he’s drawn to Janna, I think, is because Janna pulls him out of that box...

“Who is Janna to Marco?”

Janna is Marco’s wild side. Marco will overthink things, but Janna will push him to do stuff he normally wouldn’t, without thinking, and so he kinda enjoys hanging out with her. There’s always something new going on when she’s around.

“If he likes doing new things, why can’t he talk to Jackie?”

Heh, I don’t think I’ve ever met a teenager who’s comfortable talking to their crush. Even Janna - well, you’ll see.
