@restingpearlface and I are going to see Violet tonight in the “Art of the Teese” revue and we are “vibrating out of our skin” excited so if there’s a Violet spam at some point today sorry not sorry lol

(FYI to everyone else: last night was Roscoe’s Ru Revue with 1 queen from each season - Bebe, Tatianna, Delta, Jiggly, Coco, Adore, Ginger, and Robbie)

The M&G/photo line was really quick but awesome. Ginger, Tatianna, and Adore remembered me from the AS2 events; Tatianna fucking screamed and pointed and yelled “IT’S HER!” 

I am 100% fucked up about Adore right now and she went out of her way to be extra sweet to me at the M&G. I couldn’t even talk afterwards. She did an amazing set. She crowdsurfed. She’s a tornado and I cannot wait to see what she does this year 

Robbie Turner Is Everything and I Need Everyone To Know That In A Very Serious Way. She was the queen I was most excited to see perform, because I hadn’t before and she’s one of the most underrated queens of her season, and she was so much more than I’d hoped for

I had never seen Bebe or Delta (or Robbie) before last night, and they are incredible. They are Pros. Bebe’s the OG reigning for a reason.

Jiggly looked gorgeous and did an amazing Janet Jackson medley and afterwards everybody was like “well fuck, what’s Coco gonna do?” 

It turns out that Coco’s gonna do Sia and pet @restingpearlface’s face, that’s what she’s gonna do

Ginger, flawless Ginger, remains one of the best performers I’ve ever seen. And she’s still yelling my name whenever she sees me, so there’s that

Tatianna was Tatianna and everybody lost their fucking minds. Raining money on her, chanting “TATI! TATI! TATI!” and shit. At one point when it got a little quiet, someone yelled “SEE ME WITH THEM HANDS, GIRL!” and everybody went crazy again. lol she was super flattered (and seemed surprised??) that everyone’s so obsessed with “Same Parts,” she was so cute

3. The first queen to Like something of mine on social media was Courtney, and I’m not gonna lie, I rode that hype for like a week lmao. She’s one of my all-time favorites, I couldn’t help but freak out about it! /)u(\ but I’m usually decent at being chill on the outside, lol

4. I learned to make GIFs because I wanted to start this blog

5. I’ve met 22(?!) of the “Ru girls,” and every one of them has been wonderful and memorable in their own way. And it has meant so much to be able to tell them how much I love and appreciate what they do, and to see their gigs in person, because they’re all so much more than could ever be portrayed on the show. I mean, I liked Violet, but I wasn’t OMG I Love Violet Chachki So Fucking Much I Want To Scream until I met her and saw her perform. Drag is bigger, older, and more interesting than what goes down on Drag Race and it’ll certainly be around once the show isn’t.

6.  When I’m looking for new drag blogs to follow, I pull a 180 and GTFO the second I see any Phi Phi hate. Same went for Alaska hate during that dumb ass snake debacle, girl bye

7. I bought a pair of heeled, thigh-high boots before Willam’s book signing because I REFUSED to meet The Shoe Queen in flats and I didn’t have any other heels fierce enough. I LIKE TO DRESS FOR THE PARTY, OKAY

8. I got lowkey emotional on the flight back from Provincetown this summer because RuPaul’s “Fly Tonight” came on right before I landed and it had been such a whirlwind 48 hour trip and I’d met 3 of my favorite queens and it was my first completely solo trip staying in a new city alone and it’d been such a last minute, just-right-circumstances kind of thing, and it was all too perfect and too much and I couldn’t believe that weekend happened. Still can’t.

9. Because I’m that bitch who would probably get rattlesnake noises edited on her, because I sometimes say things that I can’t tell could be taken as shady because I’m trying to be sincere, I told Roxxxy “I went into your season knowing the Jinkx Monsoon thing went down, and being a big fan of Jinkx... and I still liked you anyway!” And Roxxxy laughed and said she was happy to hear that, but Alaska, next to us, just fucking screamed and started cackling

10. The very first queen I met was Katya and I will never, ever forget it because I have stitched that series of interactions into my brain so tightly that they might as well be new nerve endings

11. I started watching Drag Race in April, went to BOTS in June, and my entire approach to life and creativity and my own femininity has been completely different ever since
