If Marin stumbled across a long lost possession of hers she would be very awed. She would at first grow very quiet and contemplative, totally lost in her thoughts and completely engrossed in admiring the object. She would get a very small and wistful smile on her face but would likely have some unshed tears lingering in her eyes. After that she would likely show it to Lace and explain it's significance. Marin really holds a lot of significance in certain items and times of her life and so especially if it was from her happier childhood she would want to share that memory with her partner.
Marin would take immaculate care of the item. She would always have it wrapped in additional tunics or cloths so that it was protected and she would make sure to always have it on her. If she recovered this item she would make sure it was never lost again.
