Rethan, Belost, and my Destiny boy Maxim.

Most people here don't know Aries or Maxim (my Destiny boys) but I still love them so much X) Maxim is a Guardian who was stranded fighting on an alien planet for hundreds of years who forgot all manners, customs, and even barely remembers how to speak.

He's holding a little piglet because when he was finally found and brought back to Earth he liked hanging out in an outside village to go see their pigs. When he found out they were planning on slaughtering them he broke down the fencing, stole all the pigs, and brought them back to his remote little homestead. He likes touching noses with them >3>

It's almost a running joke among fleets just how much the Trackers and Raiders have to eat to maintain their physiques.

Raiders who are meant to be dropped directly into enemy lines in battlefields and to board enemy vessels are generally pretty easy to spot walking around a ship. They're hulking monsters who spend almost more time in the gym than they do training.

While Trackers still tend to be very well built, albeit smaller than Raiders, they tend to have extraordinarily fast metabolisms because of the inhuman amounts of cardio they do. It's even kind of a gag that Trackers eat as much as Raiders while being smaller but still end up with significantly less body fat.

In fact with rough estimates for Belost, just to maintain his weight he would need to eat almost 5,000 calories per day with between 130 - 300 grams of protein. Another way to put it is that Belost would need to eat about 36 chicken breasts per day just to maintain his weight.

These boys just about need to be walking around with an IV drip of protein shakes.

A friend made a little chibi Rethan. Adorable and badass at the same time! :D

Rethan originally came from a mega planet- one nearly the size of Merrick Prime but without any of the good luck / location / management. The city was more or less one giant slum that was used for recruitment purposes for the Galra Empire and it quickly came under control of local gangs who had a hand in nearly every aspect of society. The Empire was, and still is, aware of it and allow it to remain so as they believe it is a means to gather more hardened recruits who are used to fighting.

Like many recruits from there, Rethan did not join the Empire willingly but rather exchanged a lengthy prison sentence for an equally lengthy military contract. While his plea deal only specified he join the military in general he quickly found he fit the infantry lifestyle well and eventually excelled to the point of getting the Raiders’ attention.

He could have left after his first contract was up and been free to live through the Empire with no criminal record but he enjoyed the military life among the Raiders and decided to re-enlist a few more times.

And now the grumpass himself Sterad comes to play! The original boys are all here! I may still do Karn and possibly Davus as well but we’ll have to see. These are all my main boys who I have written significantly so I feel good about getting them all in :D

I figured in a Darkest Dungeon setting their placement is all pretty accurate to where they’d be in-game.

Theron would be in the back as a buffer, Sterad would share a back slot and act as a debuffer with back row damage, Belost would basically be a Highwayman analogue who can play in the back or front, Rethan would be a second slot damage dealer, with Silixus tanking in the very front with blocking and high damage melee.

It’s been such a fun project to spend the day on ^^
