The Benz Prinz-Heinrich-Wagen is a racing car developed by the German company Benz & Cie. in 1908. The model received its name in honor of the victories of Fritz Earl, an automotive engineer and racing driver of the company, in the race of Prince Henry. The car was produced until 1911.

In the early 1900s, at the dawn of the automotive sports era, one of the most significant racing events was the Prince Henry Race, named after Prince Albert Wilhelm Heinrich of Prussia, an automobile enthusiast and brother of the German Emperor Wilhelm II. In 1907, the German Imperial Automobile Club organized the first annual tour of Prince Heinrich Unlike the French Grand Prix, the regulations of which required the participation of specially designed racing cars, the new competition allowed only four-seater production cars to be used.

Among the most significant winners of the tour were the German engineer and race car driver Fritz Erle, who won the race in 1908 in a 50-horsepower Benz & Cie. Car, and Ferdinand Porsche, who successfully completed the endurance tournament in 1910 with an 85-horsepower production car.

Austro-Daimler. To commemorate Earl's victory, the German automaker produced the Benz Prinz-Heinrich-Wagen in various engine configurations from 1908 to 1910. The 100-horsepower version of the car was developed especially for the Prince Henry races in 1910.

The "Benz Prinz-Heinrich-Wagen" model had a front-engine rear-wheel drive layout and was equipped with a four-stroke gasoline engine, a carburetor power system, rigid axles with semi-elliptical springs, a 4-speed manual gearbox, which was connected via a propeller shaft to the rear axle, and wooden spoke wheels with pneumatic tires.
