‘Heh heh.... It’ll be all over soon.’
❝ I beg to differ, ❞ his own grating voice dared to say aloud to himself within the confines of this crimson forest that surrounded his being. It was such a casual habit for him at this point, bringing a sort of comfort and calmness to his mind, which was constantly bombarded by new thoughts from all around. It was just one of those ticks he preferred not to control if he had the luxury to. ❝ .... This is just the beginning. ❞
And that it would be. Beacon, Vale even, was just one small part of this plan that had long ago already been set into motion.
This red forest, it only served to make Adam grimace. If it hadn’t brought up memories of the past, he would enjoy the blood red color of the leaves, signifying their life force, their essence. He made himself to survey his surroundings, trying to replace the thoughts of her abandoning him to imagine what this place would look like once CHAOS ensued.
❝...... ❞ Adam stopped in his tracks. His hands having already been on Wilt and Blush, he sensed something, no, someone familiar.
God, he couldn’t put a finger on who it was. No, it wasn’t HER, but it was someone he knew from long ago. He sees her amongst the other trees, suddenly noticing streaks of black and red, and that of ivory white, blinking twice just to make sure he’s not hallucinating. ❝ It can’t be.... ❞ He actually had to grin as he dared to step closer, still making sure to keep himself on the defensive, but he’d recognize that masked woman anywhere. ❝ Raven, hm? What are YOU doing here...? ❞
