So sad to wake up to the news of Grant Hart's passing. I had the privilege to work with him a couple times and photographed a number of shows over the years. This is an example of why Rev105 was so amazing. What other radio station played Everclear, Moby, Forest for the Trees, the Spinanes, Soul Coughing, Joe Henry, the Gin Blossoms, Ani DiFranco, AND stuff like whatever the hell this is? (if you know what this is, PLEASE PLEASE TELL ME, I RECORDED IT FROM A FIFTEEN YEAR OLD MIX TAPE AND HAVE NO IDEA) Black Star Liner?

I remember when going up in the suburbs of the Twin Cities, one of the best things to do was to just turn on Rev105 and chill to whatever sweet as alternative music they decided to play that day, be it Moby, Forest For the Trees, or Soul Coughing, you know, whatever.

Then one day I woke up and it had been bought out and turned into a hard rock station and everything sucked forever after on the radio.
