In Hetalia, who says ghost says England or America. But the only one to really be phased by them would be sweet sun child Alfred!

However, I didn’t see any historical ghost that would go to the point of being revengefull....there was only one that could be bittersweet about him and...he was alive. But you know what is wonderfull in AU’s? It’s that you can change the reality quite easily to obtain what you want!

In alternative Hetalia stories, I often associate Matthew as an incomplete country, that have less “substance” than others, almost like a ghost. So ghost!matthew is a character I kinda use.

And I think he is the most effective to frighten the almighty America, to the point of making him crawl like a child on an Halloween night....OuO
