- Talk, Hozier
Rasa was looking forward to a quiet evening which required little to no thinking. Especially after that committee meeting— the world is so filled with idiots who need everything spelled out for them.
Also, it was a bit late. Not enough to have Sasori giving him that look, but late enough that he had to let Kuri know that he likely won’t be joining them for dinner. Yes, Chestnut, I will get something healthy. I love you. I’ll see you soon.
A click when Rasa puts the key in and opens the door to the foyer. Takes off his coat. His shoes. His briefcase on its spot at the table. The first floor is quiet, except for the small purr from one of the cats, asking for dinner.
“I’m sure you’ve been fed already,” he said, giving the small thing a light pat on the head. Rasa, instead, adds more water to her bowl. She will have to content herself with that until breakfast.
He then turns to the stairs. Rasa thinks of a warm shower. Kuri and Sasori asleep on the bed. He will get to lie down on the pillow on his side— perhaps, be able to draw Kuri closer and kiss her between her shoulders. Tell her that he loves her.
But, as luck would have it, nothing in this household is ever… as expected.
The door opened, almost as if to frame Kuri. Naked except for the a blindfold and shear lingerie that, Rasa was sure, was meant to draw the eyes to her instead of to cover anything in particular. His eyes traced down from the embroidered design that just brushed her breasts— down to where her legs parted to give way to Sasori’s fingers. Deliberate movements both teasing at the edge, and occasionally dipping down just for Sasori to watch Kuri’s mouth part to whisper his name.
Kuri naked, legs spread and draped over Sasori’s lap. Sasori who was looking straight at Rasa, parting Kuri’s legs just a bit to give him a better view.
“Kuri,” Sasori whispered, gently tugging off her blindfold, “Look who’s come home. Do you think he should say hello?”
If Rasa had looked up, he might have noticed the way Kuri motioned to him to come closer. Might have seen her mouth his name. Or the way she turned her neck, leaned closer to Sasori, and left a trail of lipstick kisses on his jaw.
But instead, Rasa’s gaze is fixed between Kuri’s legs. At the slow way Sasori teased her lips, ran circles along her clit, at the wet spot on Sasori’s pants which told him that they’ve been waiting for him. He’s been taking his time with her. He can almost ta—
“Rasa,” Sasori called out. Because Sasori noticed where Rasa’s gaze was fixed. “Come closer.”
Rasa took a few steps closer. He idly muses that this is all likely Sasori’s doing. He has been plotting with Kuri some ways of making him come early, he remembered.
“Get on your knees.”
Rasa’s eyes move from Sasori. To Kuri. Then to Sasori holding up the two fingers that had been teasing Kuri.
“Show our darling wife some love, Rasa.”
He turns back to Kuri. Their eyes meet. And Rasa leans forward to take Sasori’s fingers into his mouth. Up until Sasori leads Rasa to where Kuri’s legs lay spread out.
Rasa pressed light kisses against her thigh. Taking in her scent before, very lightly running his tongue against her sex. Bracing himself on Sasori’s leg. And Sasori running a hand through Rasa’s hair and pressing him close, nudging him further.
Sasori turned towards Kuri who had her head thrown back, small soft jerks when Rasa hits the place just right. “Kuri,” Sasori adjusted Kuri’s leg to lay on Rasa’s shoulder, and slid her off his lap just a bit so Rasa can have a deeper taste. “Kuri, how would you like to take him? Say the word and you’ll have it.”
Yashamaru tucked all three of his children in for the evening. It had been Father’s Day and they spent most of it outside--- up early for a special breakfast, went out to the park and then to a special lunch, then ended the day with a few of the kid’s games and an extra special dinner made by mom at home.
This year, he got a poem from Azu (who had spent a month trying to figure out the best rhymes), artwork from Ame (oh, he couldn’t even put it in the fridge anymore, this simply had to be framed), and a beautiful bracelet from Haruka (woven with some of his favorite colors).
“Good night, dears,” he gifts them one kiss each. Tucked in and snug in bed. “Ame,” he whispered, “You should really go to sleep,” he pulled out a book and a flashlight from under her pillow while his daughter continued to pretend to sleep. “There will be time for books tomorrow. Tonight is for rest.”
One last look at the room before he leaves them to their dreams.

“Love of my life,” Yashamaru teased Anko, kissing her cheek and wrapping his arms around her. Disturbing her tooth brushing routine. He rests his head on her shoulder.
“Har hu hokh-ay?”
A pause. “I’m just really glad,” he whispered.
Anko started finishing up and then turned towards Yasha. “Has the day gotten you all sentimental on me?”
“Yeah,” he laughed, “Just looking back at a few good decisions I’ve made in life.” Another kiss. “You’re at the top of my list, of course.”
And so was calling her that night--- that one night Sasori caught him down at his worst. They had been spending nights together even before then but... there was an opening of himself that day. Like a dusty old house whose windows have finally let some light in. (Light. And talking to people about his problems. And medications. And water ‘cuz we’re staying hydrated.)
“Good decisions like staying a general pediatrician.” They both slipped into bed. “Getting out of the hospital.”
“It suits you, Dr. Mitarashi,” Anko laid her head against the pillow. Scooting closer to her husband. “Being a dad suits you too.”
“Thank you, Dr. Mitarashi,” he laughed.
Good decisions like walking back to you before I lost you forever. How did I ever let go of you, love?
“I know that look,” Anko poked his nose, “If you start crying, I will too. And then neither of us will get sleep with our stuffy noses.” How did he ever forget that smile? “Go to sleep. The best things will still be here in the morning.”
Yasha smiled at Anko and touched her cheek.
Yes, you will. All of you will be here in the morning.
6. Do you have an OT3 for your muse? Are you open to polyshipping? AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
@mita-rashi, @revennir
I would like to say, mostly because of @scheherazade-sings (I will definitely fault her for that : )) in the best way of course), I000% am open to polyshipping. Very open. Apparently.
I don’t think I have an OT3 that’s “one and true”. I don’t even think I have an OT3 PER muse.
It makes for a lovely mix and match honestly. But right about now, RasaKuriSaso is my jam.
There are some relationships that Sasori feels secure in and won’t really cause jealousy. He might even suggest a poly in these situations. Such reactions tend to happen in The Good AUs.
Others, Sasori is not so secure in. Tends to believe that this relationship is too good to be true, that his partner is not actually that committed to the relationship, and tends to self-sabotage in these relationships. So, jealousy is probably a bit of a thing here. These are the self-destructive AUs.
If he’s not in a set committed relationships and the jealous feelings over come him---- more than act out on it initially, he tends to draw inward and sort of hide in his shell. He tends to be a touchy creature in these times. Sasori generally does not take well to rejection when it comes to relationships.
But again, these are all relationships.
Does he become jealous of material goods? No, not really. Of abilities? Definitely not-- this guy knows he’s hot shit, very talented, and probably better than you. (I know not always good traits, but bear with me here). These things he takes in stride.
5x my muse swears it's not a date for RasaKuri in HP AU?
@revennir @spycaptain
4x my muse swears it’s not a date, and the one time that’s definitely a date
1. Monday; walking at the edge of Black Water Lake. Kuri could read lips better than Rasa could sign— but he had insisted, and she might have found that charming. It was about half an hour into the conversation when they realized that their companions have, perhaps deliberately, fallen behind.
2. Winter; Hogsmeade. Rasa had been out with family that day and Kuri was looking at sweets with Sasori. They bumped into each other, said hello, made shy comments about the chocolate frogs being sweeter this time of year. But it was Sasori who bumped into Mayumi and set into motion the domino of introductions. In the end, Kuri was invited to join them for dinner and Sasori was nowhere to be seen.
3. Recess after third period; Divination room. Despite being enrolled in a school for witchcraft and wizardry, Rasa prefered to lean on the comfort of logic and cause and effect. Kuri thought he was just too stubborn to unlearn preconceived ideas about the subject. “Here, let me show you.” Suddenly, his hand was on hers, Kuri’s fingers tracing the lines at the palm of his hand. Rasa forgetting to breathe.
4. Three days before the exams; library. Kuri asked for help she didn’t really need from someone who hasn’t gone through that material in years. They pretended to study, and then pretended to study elsewhere. Somewhere more quiet.
5. A few days shy of graduation; Hogsmeade. It was Rasa’s first time back in the area since he graduated Hogwarts. She was Rasa’s first visit. Dinner, and just the two of them, was the first thing out of his lips. Kuri signed yes before he finished his own sentence.
7. Is your muse difficult to ship with? (I feel like this might have already been asked, or maybe I just know your muses too well and I already know the answers.)
@revennir
Honestly, I think it depends on the muse?
Yasha, for example, I have not shipped with anyone except Anko. He doesn’t really want to be shipped with anyone and is more than perfectly fine that way. He would love a lot of friendships, meaningful relationships, and other such kinds if others would be willing to plot it out. (For example, @akatdollie‘s Sasori and Yasha are very close, have a good bond, got each other’s backs <3 @akatdeity Nurse Hidan being an interesting combination with Yasha too and the thing we get from this is that--- Yasha prefers strong personalities, who may or may not but usually do, “bully” him into good things.)
Karura is on the opposite spectrum and is relatively easy to ship. She’s got an easy personality which tends to mix well with a lot of people. There are just some baseline things that need to be mentioned--- where her boundaries are, respect, what she likes and doesn’t, and it usually plays out pretty well.
Some of my muses have their issues. Some will have less. But otherwise, they’re pretty okay.
As you know, I really like HidaAnko, and we’ve been tossing around the idea of CharisJashin in DMs. I also want to try a SasoKuri AU with you? It works great with the Sasori of @sunagakurenosato, and though my Sasori doesn’t grow up in Japan, I think they could be really excellent friends later in life, in the U.S.
Real talk, tho: I would ship with any of your muses, platonic or otherwise. You’re a great friend and writer outstanding ideas, and a way of bringing them to life that makes me go “omg”.
