"Fair?!" Sasori was absolutely livid. He doesn't even bother signing it. Instead, releasing a string of Farsi profanities he's picked up from his Granny since he was in elementary. You know who wasn't fair--- that fucking snake!

Sasori doesn't give two shits about Orochimaru's ethically dubious stem cell research. So he shouldn't piss on Sasori's own research just because he may have rushed through the informed consent process and helped a few reach their own decisions on study participation (recruitment is a bitch and so are deadlines).

But if Orochimaru starts using threatening language on him.

The whole lot of them can burn. Kabuto. Anko. Tenzo. The lesser Uchiha. Whoever else has their name on the authors list--- fuck if he cared who was in the line of fire.

Sasori thinks. Very loudly. With a bunch of stomping in case someone turned off their cochlears. He doesn't do anything. Yet. Except huff a little bit more and work on another project--- just long enough to calm down from more uncharacteristically impulsive ideas (like hitting up Ryozen since we're on the topic of pissing Kuri off.)

"And what the hell do you think you're doing, hiding shit from me?" Her summon slinks around her neck, tiny head perking up, its tongue sticking out in a move that manages to look smug. Someone is excited for the show, especially at Sasuke's expense.

Running his tongue along the back of his teeth, Sasuke catches the flicker of a white head at her neck. Ah. Shifting his gaze further up to meet her accusing eyes, he tilts his head. Propping a leg, he throws his arm over his knee to lean against it. Drawing out the moment to see if anything else comes out.

When silence keeps filling the space between them, he shrugs.

"Clearly it's something I'm not ready to tell you," he replies finally, gaze flickering back to her snake. Jutting his chin at the summons, "Why are you having it report on me?"
