III. BIO POINTS
grew up with 3 younger siblings, and two parents who really couldn’t be bothered to give them the time of day, so alessandra raised her siblings. living in las vegas, after her parents moved them to the states when aless was 8, she was introduced to acting through friends’ parents (who happened to be directors).
she started taking odd jobs when she could to help take care of her siblings more, and even started auditioning as well. there wasn’t much in vegas though, and she wasn’t sure she’d ever get out of vegas until she met henrik. he was handsome, charming, and they clicked instantly. they were friends for a few years before henri (to a lovestruck aless’ relief) admitted his mutual feelings to her and they started dating. in a move that she never expected, aless, along with henrik and his brother ran off to l.a. when she was 17.
it was the best thing she could’ve done. because the next thing she knew, she caught her big break towards the end of high school when she landed a supporting role in ‘the sisterhood of the traveling pants’. that gave her enough money to send for her siblings and buy a small place for all of them. away from their parents.
a few years later, as well as a few films, gossip girl started and she landed the role of serena, which essentially set her up from there. and as they say the rest is history.
absolutely loves acting, and wouldn’t trade her job for the world, especially since it gave her the ability to take care of her siblings even more, and give back to the people who helped her when she was first starting out all of those years ago when henri, aleks and her first came to l.a.
if asked, she’d easily say henrik is her partner in crime, even beyond her partner in life. when they first started this crazy journey they were just two crazy teens in love who ran off in tow with aleks, now, they’ve been married for 8 years with a three kids and honestly alessandra couldn’t be happier with her life. she’s in love with her husband, adores her kiddos and the mom life, and is excited for whatever comes next for them.
