KIN TIPS:
I would recommend city ambience to help connect to your source if that is something you struggle doing. I also recommend if you can, making your room similar to how it was in canon.
You can add little things that make you feel more comfortable or you can go all out, it’s really up to you and if you would like I could provide a decor board if you are interested.
I would also recommend clothing that you wore. Especially if it’s something special that you remember having.
If you want you could get little trinkets that you carried around in canon. Or just objects you remember having that you liked.
Mimicking mannerisms as I’ve stated before definitely will help you feel more connected. It might help if you live near a city to go for a walk every once and a while, if you are comfortable in the night time, you could do that.
