What is the interest check about?

It is mostly made to see if we would have enough possible participants to the event to be launched, as well as it being an opportunity for you to ask all the concerns you have about how the event will go. 

This will allow us to be as clear as we can with the rules, and avoid any confusion, if the event can be launched. 

What is a Reverse Big Bang?

A Reverse BB follows the same schedule and idea as a regular BB.

However, instead of having the artists chose the summary they want to draw for, it is the writers that will get to chose which art they want to base a story on!

This means that the artists will have to create sketches, layout and ideas that will imply a story in their art. Those will be needed for a deadline (not the complete piece, just the sketches), where they will then be gathered and numbered.

Writers will then be able to go through the bidding phase, and chose on a first-come, first-served basis which idea they would like to write a short story about.

We cannot wait to know whether you’re interested or not in this event!

Shadowhunters BB Reverse 2018

Hey everyone! We hope you had a great last couple of weeks and entered the new year on a positive note. Myself and Seb have been super busy, but we haven’t forgotten what’s going on (no derps here)

Our last day for writer and artist sign ups is on the 5th! We will also be reaching out to everyone who has signed up to re-confirming interest over the next couple of days so we can make sure everyone is set and ready! 

We have 10 artists and 7 writers, so we’re asking for a handful of more writers if possible. Otherwise, the opportunity to collab will be available if writers would like, or other opportunities as well. This isn’t my first reverse BB rodeo.

Once sign ups are done, we’ll also be sending out the Discord link and getting to know each other a lil more. We’re so excited!

Today is the last day to sign up! We’re at a perfect lock of 10:10 tho for artists and writers, which is buckwild to us! Seriously, for something that kind of came out of left field, the responses have been super positive and all but immediate!

It’ll be a lil quiet on the western front for the next month while we acclimate, get to know each other, and begin processing our projects; but fret not! We will return (from wherever) soon!
