The night passes fairly peacefully for a world of this nature, though throughout two or three more rumbles of far off thunder can be heard, all in different directions.

As the sun rises, it shines more brightly into the cave than before, now that the trees blocking it have burnt away and the ice blocking most of the entrance from yesterday's battle has melted almost all the way.

Illusion wakes up from a dream filled with people who are... familiar, somehow. Most of the dream is lost to him when he awakens, but he remembers feeling a sense of... frustration? annoyance? Either way, all he feels now is a slight soreness from sleeping on the cave floor.

As soon as Invi asks how they got to the desert, an invisible force tugs at her sleeve. It then starts running around, kicking up sand as it goes, as if it's trying to get Invi and Illusion's attention.

Meanwhile, Illusion unties his lab coat from around his waist and lays it flat on the ground to dry as fast as possible. He takes off his soggy, mismatched shoes, revealing his pants, the bottoms of which were tucked into his shoes, are secretly a baggy pair of sweatpants, to place said shoes beside the coat. He starts trying his best to squeeze out the water from the rest of his clothes.

As his other self steps away, Illusion's mind is foggy. What... what happened? Did they manage to figure out what's wrong with him? He can feel the twinges of a headache start to creep in, and his ears are ringing. Was that because of this Illusion's powers or...?

He pulls up his sleeve to look at the symbols on it. Only one and a half of the 10 symbols in his hunger bar are full. Ah. Yep. That'll do it. He hasn't eaten since the cave, and even then he didn't even eat enough to be able to sprint. Has he even healed any since the water incident? He was brought down to half a heart then, he hopes he hasn't just. Stayed there this whole time without thinking about it. He checks his other arm. His hand is still cut from punching glass before, but not bleeding. 3 hearts full. That's 2 and a half hearts better than the alternative, at least.

The buzzing in his ears clears enough to hear the tail end of Invi and Illusion Steve's conversation.
