Here are a couple of original creations I made on Hero Forge. I wanted to take a shot at makeing reverse merfolk and reverse naga.
The concept of reverse versions of popular hybrid fantasy creatures often tends to be played for comedy/shock value, but here I wanted to make versions of reverse creatures that were played straight and could be actual races or monsters in a Dungeons and Dragons-type setting.
I took away the arms on the base body of the reverse naga to approximate a serpentine body. I also did this with the reverse mermaid. Since Hero Forge doesn’t allow you to give your characters fish fin-like arms, I gave the body small bat wings, used the advanced posing settings to position them in a similar manner to arms and covered up the arm stumps and back with seashell shoulder pads and a short cape.
Now if only Hero Forge added a limb placement editing feature and an equine head, I could make a reverse centaur!
