proof of concept! picked up some modeling clay to start making my own props. shouldve made both pieces todether, i thought i could glue them after but i was wrong so needed a splint. gonna figure out how to do two halves or something for 3d stuff.

Hey remember in 2022 when r/heroforgeminis was full of minis inspired by the Ukrainian flag to show solidarity for Ukraine, who were being attacked by Russia, and had no problem with it? I’m sure they have a perfectly good, not weird or hypocritical reasoning for why a single mini showing the Palestinian flag, the flag of a country going through a similar but far worse situation, got taken down for being “too political”.

Xenarite Post 1 Myrmidon Destructor Golias

I built Magdel-1N3 just after Golias, and took a similar yet less complicated process. I fit the Dominus body onto a Canoptek Wraith tail by cutting out a slot into the tail to the right depth and angle. There was an extra mechadendrite protruding from the Dominus torso that I cut off as it would get in the way of the Warscythe. After getting the torso in place I cut up some Wraith claw limbs and glued them to the inside of the robe to uneven out this portion that’s normally meant to fit “flat” on a base. For all 4 arm attachments, I drilled in to each shoulder just enough so that the connection would fit more comfortably and securely. Where the Dominus rear arms normally go, I glued on some orb arm things from the Wraith kit to mount Tesla Carbines from the Tomb Blades kit on. I drilled a small hole into the Mechanicus emblem on the Dominus powerpack, and glued in a Tomb Blade sail. For the front arms I took a left arm from the Deathmark kit, and right arm from the Lychguard kit, and attached the Lychguard Warscythe.

Its been a bit since I've posted miniatures updates, so here'# my most recent huge success! I continue to love the copper look, and the two-tone metals ended up great!

Get your little player character made into a cartoon to run around the board or hang over the DM screen, heheheh. I also do familiars, and mounted player units :~)

As well as generic summon tokens (I play a Circle of the Shepherd Druid, it’s a necessity lol), enemy tokens, and enemy initiative markers!

I can't sleep so here's some wip shots of this tiny husky paladin I'm painting. I'm having a lot of fun with the colors, even though he might as well be giving me an ulcer with how fiddly some of the parts are 🥴
