Do you know where to buy the tickets for the J.K. Rowling event on October 16th? I know they dont go on sale until Sept. 10, but is it on the Lincoln Center website or the Jazz at Lincoln Center website? I was looking at the event calendar for both sites anothin event is not on either of them.

I was wondering the same thing - I've been checking the event calendar practically every single day and it's still not there. I emailed Jazz at Lincoln Center and they said tickets will be available to purchase on jalc.org, so idk I guess they'll post it on Monday.

I never really got into LOTR (I tried watching the movies, but I couldn't get emotionally attached to any of the characters), so I don't have any interest in The Hobbit. But I love Martin Freeman, so maybe I'll watch it anyway.

Are they splitting the third book into two movies or something?

It's not official yet, since that's still a long time away, but they've been talking about splitting the final book into two movies since the beginning.

Which to me, doesn't make much sense. I think it would be better to split Catching Fire into two movies, if they must have four movies.

Sorry! But the books came out years ago, it's unfair to expect people to post every single thing under a cut.

Like before the Half-Blood Prince movie came out, people who hadn't read the book wouldn't have known that Dumbledore died. But obviously if you're following someone on tumblr that posts about Harry Potter, you're probably going to be spoiled.

So, same thing with The Hunger Games trilogy. I don't consider it a spoiler if it's from something that came out more than a week ago.

Where did you find out where the premiere was?

They didn't have a premiere in New York. He was in Times Square for GMA.
