Hey. I'm not sure if this is your style, but I was wondering what your opinion is on the new Call of Duty trailer, as they seem to have a level where the (possibly Jewish) player character is (presumably) sent to a concentration camp. Details seem kind of vague at the moment.
yeah I just saw the campaign trailer. I still don’t think this game should have been made and tbh, I would assume its a rescue mission and yet again jews are shown to be nothing but victims. I think its a nice touch that they acknowledge that jewish soldiers fought in wwii, but at the end of the day its hella obvious the writing staff were white american goyishe men.
and besides, other than @nyczsq (who’s still trying to get me to play black ops III with her but not with that 40 dollar price tag), who actually plays cod for the story? no one does. you know there are going to be antisemetic slurs all throughout the multiplayer because of the subject matter. and the whole “you can be a woman and/or a person of any colour on BOTH SIDES!!!” is super fucked up. like thats the most fucked up thing ever.
anyways, if you want good wwii media (albeit alternate history), please buy wolfenstein II: the new colossus on october 27th and play a game where jews, black, disabled, and queer people are actually in positions of resistance against their oppressors thank you.
