during the torture scene with lincoln, harper is in the room alongside with miller, and during that scene... harper feels like she has lost a piece of herself that night. she knows that they did what they had to, or what they thought was right, but she knows that their downfall starts there.

i mentioned it briefly, but i am making it canon that the parents of the hundred that were left were informed of their children whereabouts after monty fries all of their wristbands. they are told they are believed dead. some parents did not care, knowing they had delinquents for children, and some did cry and scream. it’s a mixed bag, and then abby announces it on the intercom, and everything goes to shit.

to make it official in this blog, i have decided that harper is the one that figures out how to get the wristbands off without having to cut anyone’s hand off. she does it because she wants to hurt her mom, believing that they have told the parents what they had done, which was pretty naive of harper when she thinks about it too closely. but still, she does it, and teaches murphy, john and bellamy how to do it. knowing that it’s a skill that brings her more power within the structure that bellamy is creating.

i have decided, harper is the one who figures out how to get the wristbands off, and she regrets every second of it after she realizes what is going, but that doesn’t stop her from continuing to be right by bellamy’s side.

as i’ve mentioned before, s6 does not happen in my canon and in this blog. the season finale of s5 does not happen either. this is important to my characterization of harper. and how i see her to be. harper has lived through war, has had a hand in that war herself, had made herself a weapon to be used by anyone and everything the delinquents needed. she has seen the aftermaths of that war on everyone around her, and on herself. harper is absolutely riddled with scars. thin lines on her hands and face, around her hips and at the base of her spine from the drilling, scars from the black rain that touched her, and general scars from wounds that never closed properly. this is the reason that harper chooses peace in the bunker, because she has fought and has never won. it has left her riddled with scars and pain that will never go away, with nightmares that don’t stop even after she’s awake, so when given the choice, harper will chose peace. the prisoners plot doesn’t really happen because now THAT seemed right out of the left field like everything after s3. speiskru does go down after raven finds a way to do so. they also figure out how to get people out of the bunker. it is then, that they make a deal with what is now called wonkru. they get half the garden for growing food, and nobody fights, that’s important to all of them. they are divided now in wonkru and edenkru,, with speiskru joining edenkru. they live out their lives in the garden, without the worry of another war or fighting. jordan is still born in verses where harper ends up with monty, but there are other verses where harper ends up with a woman, she ends up adopting a few children that were left orphans before the five year jump.

i should also say that i will not be writing anything that has to do with s6. it’s not canon, it doesn’t exist to me. i refuse to give her a verse in a season where everyone so bluntly disregard the two characters who have been around season 1. harper was a gunner, bellamy’s right hand for a while. monty is important to the camp, to everything around them, so yeah s6 is a sore spot for me. i actually will be making rewrites of s5 too because the whole prisoner thing is bad too. my final verse for harper and the one i will default after s4 is speiskru coming down after five years of being in the ring, getting people out of the bunker, and they live out the rest of their lives out in peace. jordan is born with aunts and uncles, cousins and other children to play with.

|| My Budo is now canon-divergent in a way that he does not exactly have a crush on Raibaru , but they do still have a strong friendship. My story for them is a bit different:

Budo and Raibaru were childhood friends , and grew up as karate prodigies together , however , Raibaru excelled in her skill , and Budo excelled in his fighting spirit. Budo's karate rival and friend was always one step ahead of him , no matter how much he trained. This went on all the way until Academi , where they were both in the karate club with Raibaru as leader. Budo's streak of losing by now was getting to his head , and he was losing his confidence and some of his fighting spirit. He told nobody but the other club members that he was thinking about quitting.

Though the one thing that kept him from quitting his true passion was the other club members. They constantly helped him back on his feet , and trained with him until he was stronger. After all that , that was when he challenged Raibaru one last time and won. When Raibaru announced that she was leaving the club to pursue other activities , he was happy that she had finally decided to enjoy her life outside of fighting.

If the theory that Raibaru let Budo win is true , he would not by exactly happy with himself. In fact , he would feel like he would not be the rightful leader to the club and depending how he was told , he'd step down. ||
