I recently spent 3 months in Ireland-these paintings are in memory of my time in Belfast during the early 1980 s at the time of the Troubles-the place is much changed with restaurants shopping malls and tourists-the security measures all gone, - Rex Dixon

Rex Matthew Dixon is a British born artist who has lived and worked in the Caribbean for the last 25 years. He taught at the Edna Manley Collect for the Visual and Performing Arts in Jamaica between 1985 and 1999 and moved to Trinidad in 2001.
