I can't with how fucking dumb soaps are sometimes. so you're telling me all this time Kammy has been homeless? i.e. during the months him and Belle have dated, counting the last time as well, she has never been at his place and somehow that's not part of the weird behaviours she's mentioned? just the stuff with his family? ugh. it's also way weirder than they're playing it, like imagine dating someone for months without ever seeing their place or even overhearing them talking on the phone with a family member yet not having any explanation for it, and add to that what Belle went through with an untrustworthy guy the last time, and the fact that she isn't running for the hills becomes completely unbelieveable.

thanks for asking. :') not great, but I'm choosing to be in denial and believe that Buck aimed to the side of Daniel's head. I think he's too good of a character to waste, and either way I find his choice to go and meet up with Buck very illogical. he had time to run with BB and his mom, who seemed to be the only people he was close to in the city. why choose to go and get killed instead, which surely he knew was the likely outcome? that doesn't stop Buck from going after BB anyway. :|

on one hand I'm really rooting for Daniel and BB to get together and for Daniel to wake tf up - he's clearly a good person at heart but very misguided - but at the same time if he realizes he's on the wrong side and turns against Fisk, he's fucked. considering how brutal this show has been (Froggy qq) I don't doubt he'd be killed, so there seems to be no good option for his character at this point. I don't see him fully joining the dark side either way, if so I've certainly misread his character.

beware that a scam is going around on Tumblr where someone contacts you (can be an account you know if they've been hacked), says that they accidentally reported you when meaning to report someone else, and that you have to contact a Tumblr support person through WhatsApp or Discord to resolve the issue. it looks legit with screenshots etc., but the goal is to steal your account and get you to pay money to "resolve the issue." it just happened to me and because the message came from an account I've followed for a long time, I initially thought it was legit before googling to double-check.

I find it ridiculous how Ste, who's dated people like James and Harry, hardly the most macho guys around, is suddenly talking about how manly and "straight" Rex is, every five minutes so as to make Rex's anxiety about his secret worse. a secret like Rex's would make anyone nervous even if their partner wasn't going on like Ste is atm. even when Ste was with Brendan, by far the most manly guy he's been with, I don't recall him ever talking about that specifically. it just feels so forced. also, as if any masc guy, gay or not, would need their partner to go on like that to be anxious about secretly being a crossdresser, like gender roles and ideas about masculinity isn't going to have that covered? I think they end up focusing on the wrong thing when it's so much about "oh no what will Ste think, who's clearly only into me because I'm straight-presenting." I'm also rolling my eyes hard af at the fact that Rex, supposedly super scared about his secret coming out, didn't bring his drag outfit and change at the club and then change back as they went home, instead he apparently walked out to a cab in that outfit? and then stod openly in the spot where Ro got off, clearly not concerned about being seen?? fuck logic because they cba thinking of another way for Ste to find out, apparently. sigh.

I can't process the idea of them going back to Emmerdale the (gay) farm soap, with Robron actually living at the farm... farming. I find all the farm stuff so boring. I hope it's temporary. all else aside I love Aaron's apartment and Cain and Moira belong in that house. qq

I keep forgetting how much I enjoy the specific type of whump that is someone being tied up and injected with/made to drink some kind of truth serum. is there a term for having a weird thing for people being made to tell the truth? the scene in the Night Agent with Peter and the hitman was so fucking good. even if Pete isn't a typical macho FBI agent character, he's still tough af and pretty fearless and generally in control of the situations they end up in, and watching him in that helpless state was nice even before he started to cry and beg not to have to talk about his dad. (I also feel that on a personal level, lol.) pure whumpy goodness. I need to know if there's a fanfic term for this to use when looking for fics.

it's so fucking funny that Ward texts Danny in caps to get him to get out when the cops are coming, instead of calling. if Danny had checked his phone even two minutes later he'd have been screwed.

soaps were a mistake. the way they have to twist things to make sense of people suddenly leaving and never even visiting etc. so often just doesn't work. I mean, JP choosing to stay in the village all of this time despite his son living elsewhere, and only after he loses his job does he decide to move to him and people being like "you're such a good dad, what a big deal that you're moving for him" like a decade later... lmao. clearly his job has been more important this whole time. why didn't they just have his son move back at some point, if not to the village then at least close by, so they could have had JP go visit him, even off screen if they wanted?? instead JP has just seemed like a pretty crappy dad for years, which I doubt any JP fan liked for him, and also seems pretty OOC imo.
