omggg i can’t believe both my banescale twins go picked hahahaha

honestly I haven’t really put any thought into Jinna yet. I have some vague ideas but I’m still am not sure how she even fits into my lair. She probably is a benign spirit, the ghost of a dead dragon from before Florabrisa, but I’m not sure how she died, how long ago she died, how old she was when she died. or just, how she works at all dsfsdf who are you Jinna...what happened

but yeah uh. Scared chicken indeed. Colupis would see a ghost and faint. and then when he wakes up and sees Jinna looking concerned for him, he would faint again. It’d just be an endless cycle fdadfs

Then Jinna would get to contend with his three angry and protective sisters when they find Colupis in this state dsfdsf (granted i’m not sure if any of them would actually know how to fight a ghost but. it’d still probably be more trouble than its worth for Jinna dfsdf)

9. Favorite lore dragon you own?

Tarragon, Ingot, and Ricotta are usually my go-to’s for this (though most Ricotta’s lore isn’t even on her page fadsfd) but for a change of pace I’m going with Ardest! He’s just a sweet boy who is now living his best life… a clumsy oddball of a mirror who was never any good at hunting and had difficulty fitting in with other mirrors. He was pretty young when he left his not-very-supportive family to try and pursue his dreams to be a painter! He was a starving self-taught artist who traveled city to city in western Sornieth, trying to sell his works. He was hardly famous, but he was managing well enough and came to have some decent connections in the local art communities. Eventually, he got into contact with Crystalspirit, who runs an art gallery in Florabrisa, and the two worked out a deal to put on an art-exhibit for Ardest’s works! So Artist came to stay in Florabrisa for a few months. Florabrisa, as pretty as it is, really isn’t the best location for selling art, but Ardest really grew into the community and fell in love with Keiji, an assistant chef in Florabrisa’s big kitchen. So even if his art isn’t getting as many viewers as would be ideal, he’s pretty set to stay for now c: (and he doesn’t have to worry about starving now anyway. Food is free in Florabrisa, plus he’s a great taste-tester for Keiji haha)

I do like to think that in the future Keiji and Ardest will so some travelling together around Wind so Ardest can do art shows in more prosperous areas again eventually! But they are both happy just chilling in Florabrisa for now.

10 facts about Oculaura, go!

Oculaura!! My multigaze child!

1. She is about 11 years old! Just a little girl (who is still bigger than half the lair. Yay imps)

2. I've never decided who exactly, but some members of Florabrisa found her abandoned as a 2-4 year old and took her in.

3. She is intensely magical and sometimes accidentally causes weird things to happen around her.

4. Relatedly, she has caused damage to infrastructure before.

5. Since the clan tends to do communal raising, she never really had a specific parent, mostly just Clash and Antikyra raising her with other adults also stepping in occasionally. But recently, a nocturne named Sonata who also has Arcane Multigaze moved into Florabrisa and she and Oculaura felt an immediate kinship. The adoption papers are in the works.

6. She may be an Imperial, but she has a stronger taste for plants than seafood or meat. Sweetgrass makes for some good munchin c:

7. She doesn't believe in bed time. She often sneaks out with Totality to stargaze, though she actually is more interested in the moon than the stars - she feels she relates to the moon in some intrinsic level, and not just cuz its her primary color haha

8. She really hates magic as she feels its been the root of all the problems in her life and she won't willingly use it. (Sonata however will probably try to help her work through this and better teach her how to reign in her abilities and better control things!)

9. Likely because of her arcane magic, she tends to have a very saccharine smell. Some adults worry its because she's eating too many sweets but that actually is completely unrelated.

10. She sees ALL. (But she closes all her body-eyes when she's taking tests! She is an honest student and would never cheat!)

My grandmother has a massive lemon tree in her backyard that the family swipes lemons from all the time. Sucks that you're allergic to the peaches though </3

Oooh I would’ve loved having a lemon tree in our backyard haha. I use lemon on just about everything I eat!

Yeah, I can’t really eat peaches unless I cook them in some manner. Something about the raw fruit itself sets off my allergic reaction, getting itchy eyes and throat plus swollen lips and all that jazz lol
