A common criticism I see of Ben's redemption and his relationship with Rey is that it allegedly feeds into the sexist narrative of the woman having to save the man with her love.

But that's not what happens. Ben his saved by his parents. And he's the one who saves Rey.

Hux: Punch him in the stomach. Then, when he doubles over in pain, kiss him.

Finn: Tackle him.

Poe: Dump him.

What if this really happened to Kylo Ren on his time, I mean, he sees a girl, he is the only one that saw her, and suddenly as she appears before him, she is gone.

This leaves him with questions obviously, but time passess and he still doesn't know who was that girl. Until one day, when they are looking for certain droid, Mitaka tells him that the droid and the trooper were accompanied by a girl, and this send him on the mission of "looking for the droid" when we all know what he did when he found the girl ;).

I mean, if that vision didn't mean something, why bother to show us!

And then, when they are fighting on the forest he says "it's you"... I MEAN COME ON!!! It's you??? WHOOO, the certain girl he was so intrigued by???¿¿¿¡¡¡!!

Also we all know that he already has "churning emotions" about her, right???

So, what if he knows her since that time under the rain, maybe it was the first time they saw each other. And that's why he kidnapped her on Takodana and forgot about everything but her.
