i don’t know much about the history of tea but i’m fairly certain that the uk had black tea first because china would ship over green tea that would ferment(?) during the shipping time, turning it into black tea, which is why black tea is stronger and why green tea only started cropping up after the transportation got faster

maybe in lockstock’s donlon, because of the magic of the flow the industrialization was pushed a lot quicker so the travel time between countries was shorter and there was never a chance to accidentally invent black tea? and thats why no one had heard of it before

The Egg is hatching.

It has been exactly 10 Business days since Monty's last moon-turned transformation, and AJ was very clear when he said that 'Monty Thinks he has control of his curse'.

Hinks is unwell. I agree with others who are also wondering if this s important. Does it have something to do with Roland successfully commanding him? (If so poor Roland, because that's his favourite teacher).

I head cannon that when Edgar graduates he will immediately find his permanent home. I think he doesn’t like the unpredictably of being on the road so he try to find somewhere stable. I also think the only way he will control his curse is by doing some of the things Poe wants. Poe tries to get him to work out of he wouldn’t die in the plagueground. But I believe that Poe would let Edgar find the home he wants and won’t be miserable in. But I digress. Edgar has lived on the road around his whole life and as an anxious fella myself, change is the worst.

Spoilers for the finale of RFTH Plagueground!!

Im just thinking about how Edgar will have to take care of this new egg but how Midge definitely didn't think about how baby birds are fucking fragile and Edgar is just a young teen who's still doing classes.

Imagine Edgar is sat at his desk in his dorm room at night, Monty is asleep and Edgar is struggling to do his homework—continuously getting distracted by the egg sat on Poe's old birds nest being bathed in a warm light. Edgar whispers to it, wondering what it'll be like. Is it going to be as confident and stubborn (/pos) as Poe? Or will its personality completely contradict him? Will this bird even be a crow? Edgar would probably start entirely new research, going to the libraries (if St Churnley's has any or during the summer holidays) to research birds to help identify it. He would be completely invested in this new bird as a part of his healing from losing Poe, but also as a distraction.

When the bird is born and Edgar is the most caring person ever. The bird immediately imprints on Edgar, seeing him as his mother. Since Edgar is studying and is busy with his classes, the bird will probably have to go to Nurse Lenny to be taken care of during the day so during lunch, Edgar will visit and even make a friendship between him and Nurse Lenny. During these visits, Edgar tries to be as present as he can, Nurse Lenny will teach him how to feed the bird and teach him how to tend to its wounds in any future battles (which Edgar is extremely appreciative of because now more than ever, he wants to be able to save this bird like how he could've saved Poe). As a bonus, he takes up extra lessons with Sarge and goes to the gym (as Poe wanted) to make sure he is strong and prepared for whatever future battles may occur so he is ready to protect this bird and it won't ever have to think of making the same decision Poe had to make.

When the bird grows up, (assuming its a crow and is the exact same size as Poe) Edgar has this dramatic moment where instead of passing on Poe's old armour to the new bird, Edgar creates an entirely new one. He's been perfecting this, even taking up classes with Mr Hebden to help teach him the aerodynamics and physics of the armour he wants to create, in the process, making many different types with all different looks and materials, until he makes one that is just perfect. Edgar wants to make sure this armour is perfect so that it can withstand everything that Poe had gone up against during the initial fight with that monster so that it can protect this bird when he cannot.

I’ve been inactive and silent about rfth and the Plagueround but oh now that we have a mystery I shall shout!!

I have theory. See, in the first episode Midge was like “something something Monty’s grandma hoped no one in the family got this wolf curse” blah blah Monty did. The grama is the only survivor.

When all the boys are walking in and fall behind grandmaster flash they meet “ungraduated students” in the plagueround. Headmaster flash said that’s what happens when you don’t graduate or something.

Let’s examine the plagueround playtime thing where a wolf, with similar burning claw marks attacked some students.

Hmm. It’s almost like this curse has existed before, meaning repeat curses. Who else has repeat curses? The Allens perhaps. 🤔 what if there’s some family member of Monty in the plagueround, one that never graduated and is now always wolf cause messed up plagueround rules? What if this person was related to his grandma? A brother or son she had to leave at St. Churnleys and then never saw again because he couldn’t control it.

This theory does not account for the green shirt and sausage poncho, but let me be honest, I don’t remember what shirt Monty was said to be wearing. I thought that figure was the voice inside Roland’s head going out to plot nefarious things.

gang theory on why Edgar’s family lied to him about Poe:

The raven always ends up dying. Since they’re so weak they always end up dying in the plagueround. Therefore, Edgar was lied to to protect him from getting attached to Poe, but it didn’t work so it was pointless lmao

Ok so, we were told Nurse Lenny is somehow creating the mimic, so each of its abilities are someone’s curse, Brandon’s hands, Roland’s voice, Monty’s wolfishness, Poe, Morty’s rocks, but what if the shadow is from Singh? We know his curse is probably shadow related, and the thing is made of shadows, but how would that happen? My working theory with the Lenny made it thing is that it has to do with what he heals and who he heals, both of their curses being absorbed into this thing, but then how would it get Singhs shadows? We see Singh heal himself, so why would he go to Nurse Lenny? This kind of adds to the Singh is/has been replaced by the mimic theories, but then why didn’t we see it heal during the fight? Maybe it just felt no need to but it’s weird, I’m just rambling in the corner with my tin foil hat
