Regulus snorts when he laughs and he hates it. He doesn’t like people knowing either so he tries not to laugh unless he’s alone. Anyone who catches him off guard and makes him laugh receives threats of bodily harm immediately after.

y'all mind if i get a little sappy with it? actually don't answer that i'm gonna do it anyway. half a year ago today i posted what might be the most consequential picture i've ever posted:
that's right, it's the very first (and very scrungly and wispy) incarnation of my leggy boy max :)
i'd been orbiting the furry community for a good while at that point but never worked up the gumption to just go ahead and call myself one. not completely sure why, but if i had to guess i'd say it's something to do with growing up autistic and getting relentlessly bullied for being the weird kid in high school. don't wanna dwell on that. anyway. i was kinda unsatisfied with my life in general at that time, uni wasn't going well (still kinda isn't but hey there's been some improvement at least!), all that.
'twas then that i ran across Conway, a gorgeous VN by @nomaxart, which features a maned wolf character that made me go "oh if i was a furry i'd definitely be a leggy!" i think that's what kicked off the maned wolf hyperfixation. or maybe it was already going on, idk. can you tell i'm not great with words? anyway, this went on for a bit, followed a couple fursuiters on instagram, got very "man i wish i could do that but alas, i must be Normal." until i FINALLY got fed up enough with that to decide to stop giving a shit about what some strangers think i should be doing and just. be weird. just be weird! fuck 'em! so off i went, beginning my hoard of leggy pictures, started rotating them in my mind, all that.
and on that fateful day, october 29 2025, max was released upon the world in all its scrunkly glory and my "not a furry tho" (great artist btw) facade finally came crashing down. and i'm fucking glad it did! this rules! it's genuinely so fucking awesome to just be a little weirdo freak and make all kinds of friends who are also little weirdo freaks! so shoutout furries, shoutout @maroon-drake for being (i think?) the first one to pick up on my furry arc and introducing me to @berdyman, shoutout to my new(ish) furry pals (in no particular order) @sleeepy-sun, @brakcoon, @civilotterneer, @eldiapason, @saltlessseaotter, @very-gay-alkyrion, @n-pdoesthestuff, and everyone else i forgot to tag, for being so cool and welcoming, idk what else to say other than yay furries! i'm glad i went for it and tbh my life is immeasurably better for it, much love <3
