Y’all….. this episode.
So the rainbow divas broke up and are no longer doing rainbow vision… I do not know about y’all, but this ain’t what I wanted. I didn’t expect them to get back together right away, but I did expect for Meline to wanna continue rainbowvision if for nothing else her pride. I think it would have been a good dynamic to see them working towards a similar goal even if they dislike each other now. Also, they just completely screwed Coco over. They aren’t talking to her about anything so when coco is bombarded with questions again it’ll reflect badly on her as a manager for being blindsided by this drama.
Also, they kicked out 6-7 other group members and they think the new girl is the problem? You’d think Ayesha would be somewhat combative with Meline since they have a back and forth all the time. I just find it weird that now they get along to kick out the new girl. And Ayesha doesn’t even feel bad about kicking out Sabrina, which shocked me. Thought she would at least be apprehensive about the situation, but okay.
From one drama to the next let’s wrap up the A’s drama. Thank you Aiden for finally being present. We never really got to witness how you were handling this drama after the eclipse episodes, but it’s good to have you back. Imma let out a big “thank you!” To Avery for finally realizing that maybe, just maybe, distance is healthy. I do think both Aiden and Avery needed to acknowledge that shadow high is just as competitive and cutthroat as rainbow high and that Ainsley can grow a lot from being there. However, this little send off was sweet and so is the necklace.
Except the part where Avery said “cringe”. I paused the episode just for her saying that.
Glitch has a new outfit and she looks cute. That’s it. That’s the photo. It’s hard to see, but I didn’t feel like taking a whole lot, y’all can see it’s not her normal outfit.
My strawberry lemonade girlfriends are back!!!!!! If only it were under better circumstances. They are so cute. Delilah is a supportive gf with an emotional Sabrina and I love that. I’ve missed these two together. 💝💛
Sabrina performing on her own and it’s the song Delilah wrote!!! It’s a good thing the song was finished and Delilah had sheet music ready, haha. I do wish we got to see Sabrina interact with Delilah and maybe talk music or something. It would give the other divas more motive to not trust Sabrina and it would make these two closer. As is, I like the song and I like Sabrina.
I noticed in my rewatch Paris has a different outfit. So, that’s nice. Also look at Ramona here! She’s so cute!
And now the million dollar question, will Sabrina be able to go on as a singular rainbow diva in rainbow vision? I hope so, but I don’t know. It’s like Phaedra said, lots of rules were broken. They can’t ignore that. It would also hold some of Shadow Highs statements true that rainbow high gets favoritism during Rainbow vision if they ignore the rules for one student.

Rainbowvision drama during tech! Let’s go!
First, who is the new girl? She looks so cute. Also, Jewel shading Ainsley for joining Shadow High when Jewel isn’t even a student at rainbow high! She’s an exchange student! Girl better step off 😂
Next thing I wanna talk about is Natasha. Like… girl. I love you but you can not expect one song writing workshop to help you come up with a second verse for your song the day before the competition!!! She’s lucky most of the students in the workshop were willing to help her. At least she doesn’t want to outright steal someone else’s words and get help writing on her own, but why didn’t she ask for help earlier?
I think the rules are a bit odd though since according to Harley the songs don’t have to be written by the contestant or even someone from the same school. I’m sure other students in the competition feel cheated if someone is in the competition and not writing for themselves. I think that’s why Harper left because she takes her art seriously and thought it outrageous to help someone else, who is her competitor. It also brings into question, who was helping her in the first place? It also makes me wonder if the songs aren’t written by the competitor, when do they give credit to the songwriter? If it’s a student I feel like they would want at least some credit, right?
Wooo, that was a whole rant, okay next thing!
Coco, I love you, but if I was either Ainsley or Avery I would bite your head off. You do not interrupt tech rehearsal!!! Like ever! Unless someone’s dying there is work to do, get out! Especially for a dressing room situation, like a whole makeup room is not enough space for the three of them?! You would rather be in a tiny tour bus than a whole room to the three of you?! Even then, why go to Avery? Ainsley is dealing with dress fittings, not her. I just… no. I feel bad for my girls. Theatre kids, we know the stress of tech.
Speaking of, these three look gorgeous!!! Look how they’re animated together!!!! Was not expecting southern accents out of Sabrina and Meline, but I love that they are southern girls. Rainbow Diva’s are very much that, diva’s. But I enjoy watching their dynamic. Hopefully I get Sabrina’s doll soon, she’s adorable!!
And when she’s with Delilah at the end of the episode my heart exploded!!! Guys, I found a new rainbow high ship, they are so cute!!! Singer/songwriter couple is just aaaauuuugh!!! Like look at the way Delilah looks at Sabrina as she leaves!! I’m already getting headcanon ideas guys, this is dangerous, I love them! 💗💛

New episode! And….. wow
First, I just want to know what these two were doing. Why was the door locked? Was someone inside? What are they trying to do? I have so many questions and this happened in the first few seconds.
The acts this episode were good! I do wish we got to see the full neon shadow performance. They might only be showing acts that have significance in later episodes like I said last time, but still. Kinda wish we had them over the barrel high girls. Although, them being a spoof of Barbie?? Kinda funny. (Im pretty sure they are a spoof on Barbie. The house, the song? Yeah. A dig in barbie and Mattel and I’m here for it, lol)
The kingly boys!!!! I was not expecting to like their song. At all, but it was really fun to listen to! The dance moves at the beginning though could leave the room cause I don’t know what they were doing. I also didn’t like how they were driving the car for most of their song. Got annoying after a bit. Their performance was so entertaining which is why I’m actually kind of upset they are out of the competition now. But that’s all because of…
This team up…. Honestly wasn’t expecting it, but wasn’t surprised either. What did surprise me a little bit, was the assistant essentially becoming a mastermind. Like… what does he have to gain from helping both shadow and rainbow high. Also wasn’t he supposed to be doing lighting for rainbowvision? Why is he walking around in everyone’s business?
But yeah, this team up is a good way to ensure both their schools can make it to the finals, but at the same time if they get caught that is going to look bad on both schools. I would be more weary of the assistants suggestion than they are. I just know they better leave pacific coast alone. Harper Dune seems like the girl who would call a person right out if she smelled foul play.
The amount of sabotage they try getting away with though is insane. First the auto tune in the sound booth, which 1) how’d she know that’s what the lever did? 2) Daria you don’t have headphones on girl, you didn’t hear the clicking of heels enter the room? 3) seriously, the shadow high twins slammed the door open with you and poppy in it! None of you heard that?! 4) Aiden, where were you and why were you not supervising??? Like you can’t not be there and then get mad at them when something goes wrong. You were not there to supervise when that seems to be your job.
Next thing is the sabotage they try pulling on the Kingsley Boys. 1) the rainbow twins and the light board? Whatever that thing they were messing with was, someone is going to notice that is broken. Why are you physically damaging items that can trace back to you? 2) the shadow twins climbing to get to the light? In heels?! No. And that light being unscrewed is going to fall on someone next episode. I’m calling it now. 3) when in doubt, call your mom to have her get in contact with a music manager in a completely different country to sign two boys from a high school music competition so they can no longer compete… don’t tell me you’ve never done that.
Y’all knew I was gonna speak on this. First, Ainsley shouldn’t be the one running the show. That’s Avery’s job. She was there for tech, knows the cues and entrances of all the acts and made notes on all of it. Avery calls the show, not Ainsley who has been taking care of all the acts backstage. Now that the stage management side of me can breath.
Second, if there was such a worry about people entering rooms they weren’t supposed to, why was no one guarding or keeping watch at the major spots? Someone could have stood outside the sound booth, backstage, the school entrance, the freaking bathroom. If Ainsley is supposed to call/run the show, she isn’t going to be focusing on four people doing things they aren’t supposed to. She’s be too busy running the show.
Third, it really is neither of their faults for what happened cause they are both busy doing their jobs to run rainbowvision. Even though they aren’t on good terms they do need to communicate better or stuff like this will keep happening. None of them should be placing blame on each other. Avery shouldn’t feel the need to call out Ainsley. Ainsley just responded back, but there wasn’t a need to bring up the transfer drama in that conversation. Just keep it to rainbowvision.

First these three are so pretty! Their basic outfits are cute too, especially Lola’s. I wonder if Eliza and Demi’s outfits in this photo will come in a pack or something since they don’t come with the dolls. Same thing for Lola’s second outfit in this episode.
Next a look at our semi finalists once again. We see the boys from one of the previous episodes down at the bottom there. Harper isn’t being shown on this poster, but two new girls are! I think they might be the group Those Darn Dolls. They are I believe the only group we haven’t seen yet. Excited to get to know them!
I love this photo, look at Robin, such a queen. Honestly there isn’t much to talk about this episode. There isn’t a lot of drama aside from who has a crush on Ash Silverstone. I think this is a cute filler episode until we get to the semi finals though.
Anyway, what do you guys think of the costumes and episode? Personally I enjoy Rainbow highs costumes more than Shadow highs, especially Bella’s.

Okay y’all let’s talk shadow high again! Firstly, now I understand the Devious twins rivalry with shadow high or at least the shadow high twins.
Also Sunny throughout the entire episode was a joy!! Twins try to insult her and she’s just like “okay, and?”
She’s making friends and the exchange students are so pretty!! Love them.
Also her and Luna not being in bad terms, at least on Sunny’s side. Luna not wanting to interact with Sunny shows it’s really Luna who wants space while Sunny is content with herself and her place. I hope there is more interaction between the Madison twins. (Also the pink and green gays talking right next to Sunny 💖💚)
Gabriella and Finn…. I don’t know what you’re trying to do Rainbow High, but I’m not sure I like it… but Cheryl in the back staring at them like they are her OTP is cute… and this brings me back to my previous thought, what the heck happened while they went to Pacific Coast?!
This Glitch girl looks cool and I can’t wait to see more of her. And we all figured Ainsley was going to transfer over or have some connection to shadow high. But the way Aiden and Avery look at her on stage is sad. Overall a nice continuation to last episode. What’d you guys think of phase 2 of the eclipse?
Shadow high, shadow high. My oh my. Let’s talk y’all!
First, Jades face when Bella got pushed to the ground. Laurel, Holly we get you’re upset, but don’t mess with jella! But also what’s their deal with shadow high? This is clearly more than just a rivalry to them.
Second, the way Shadow high went about getting their message across was powerful and effective. It’s also nice to know that not all of rainbow high is against shadow high, like they can see that the system is in their favor and that there should be a change. But I feel a bit bad for Violet and River who are just trying to do their jobs.

Overall, great episode! Love hearing Ainsley stand up for shadow high, wonder what her connection to shadow high is though. And Gabriella being a computer wiz for some reason makes me so happy? Idk. What’d y’all think of this episode?
It’s a rainbowvision news special before the semi finals with Heather Grayson!
Honestly I’m glad Heather is doing some reporting cause we have mostly just seen Violet and Phaedra. Nothing wrong with that, but sometimes I forget Heather is also a reporter for Rainbowvision.
A reminder of who our semi finalists are! I also like the little detail of when introducing a few of them Heather chose all the characters who did not go to Rainbow high or Pacific Coast. It was mainly shadow high bands, aside from Meena of course, I just thought that was a nice touch.
Lastly we got a bit on insight on the Royal Three! These girls are so pretty and I love the backstory of meeting during Karaoke. And Tiara having a closet full of plushies?! It’s a vibe.
