What if Daemon had been there when the news of Lucerys' death reached his youngest daughter?
Do you think she blamed herself for it? Knowing Lucerys died after refusing another woman because he was loyal to her? Do you think she begged her father to bring him back even if she knew there was nothing Daemon could do?
I believe faithfully that since book¡Daemon was not there to comfort Rhaena in person when Lucerys died, he sent her a letter just like he sent one to Rhaenyra.
One to his wife, one to his most fragile little girl who had just lost the boy she'd been so beloved by.
Lucerys was one year older than her in the books, and he was probably the biggest reason why she wanted a dragon to hatch for her instead of claiming a big one, she wanted to be able to dance in the skies with him and Arrax, only to end up only ever dancing by herself because she lost her whole family too.
She was alone when waiting for her dragon, she was alone when she finally got her Morning too.
