At Rheinturm, Düsseldorf
Düsseldorf with the Rheinturm and Medienhafen, Nordrhein-Westfalen, Northwestern Germany. The Rheinturm is a 240m high concrete telecom tower. Constructed in 1979, it carries aerials for directional radio, FM, and TV transmitters. There's a revolving restaurant on top and an observation deck at 170 m high. It's the tallest building in the city. The observation deck is open daily from 10:00h-23:30h. As a special attraction, a light sculpture on its shaft works as a clock - the Lichtzeitpegel - it's the largest digital clock in the world.
