38 years ago today, in 1976, The Rocky Horror Picture Show was officially re-released as a midnight movie at the Waverly Theater in New York City (also in Texas), as a last ditch effort to make the movie successful following it's original failure the previous fall. Needless to say, we all wouldn't be here right now if this day didn't happen 38 years ago! And we've come a long way since!
