Appreciation Post: Dorinda Medley
I can’t help it, I’ve missed Dorinda Medley!
The Mystery of Bobby’s Funeral
The issue between Dorinda Medley and Jill Zarin went dark and deep, and I’ve got questions and opinions.
So, let’s dive into the mystery of Bobby Zarin’s funeral.
Dorinda accused Jill of “making them film” the funeral. Jill claimed that she didn’t see any cameras and that she hadn’t invited Bravo to the funeral.
But in the throwback to the reunion that season, Andy Cohen said that Jill had invited them to film.
When the producers pressed her during a confessional, she questioned why she wasn’t included in the e-mail her former assistant had sent to Bravo.
But then she also said “outside: sure, inside: never”. That was probably what she meant by not seeing any cameras.
There weren’t any cameras inside the actual funeral.
I thought the women were being dramatic in their outrage of Bethenny Frankel filming Bobby’s funeral.
Dorinda, in her condescending manner, called it morbid. I felt like they used any excuse to attack Bethenny at that reunion.
Was it morbid or tacky when Alexia Echevarria and the rest of the cast filmed during her mother’s funeral on RHOM? Outside and not inside, just like with Bobby’s funeral.
Was it tacky or was it an emotional episode, where the women put their differences aside as their issues looked small in the larger scheme of things?
And that’s what happened between Bethenny and Jill.
They were best friends in the first seasons, but they fell out when things finally started happening for Bethenny.
They had a feud and a huge fallout that went into a cold war between them. Bobby tried to mend the fractured relationship between them.
Therefore, their moment outside of the funeral was huge. It was an incredible moment on the show.
But I suspect that the backlash Jill received after Bobby’s funeral has made her claim that the invitation didn’t come from her.
Listening to the way the women talked about the funeral at the reunion, and it’s easy to think that the negativity made Jill regret her decision to film.
Too bad, because it was an important moment in the history of RHONY.

I know what she did was foul, but I can’t help but being entertained by this woman!
That Moment with the Bartender
Namaste, Bitches and Fake Friends!
The Judge is back to get the conversation in Orange County moving.
It’s not like these women ever lost track of Tamra Judge anyway. In season 15 she was like the Ghost of Housewives Past, for crying out loud!
It was a mistake by Bravo to fire her. The last couple of seasons of RHOC made that painfully obvious. And she proved herself worthy on RHUGT2.
But the last couple of years hasn’t been the greatest for Tamra. Her dog died and she and Eddie Judge are closing the doors to Cut Fitness.
She has a very successful podcast with Teddi Mellencamp-Arroyave, but thankfully that was reduced to a minimum during the recap of Tamra’s issues.
She’s got a bone to pick with Shannon Beador, which surprised me a little bit.
I thought they had squashed this feud, and that she would have a target on Heather Dubrow’s back, since there were rumours about Heather sabotaging her return to Bravo!
However, Heather is the one organizing a reunion between them, during an outdoor yoga session!
Tamra introduced us to the yoga instructor, Jennifer Pedranti, and her private life is a hot mess! Her home situation is utter chaos!
Emily Simpson said that she likes Jennifer, but she has heard that Jennifer cheated on her ex-husband.
And Emily will continue to dig until she gets her answers!
There’s a lot of anti-Emily and Gina Kirschenheiter in the fanbase, but honestly, I enjoy them.
Especially Emily. Our little attorney will get to the bottom of “The Mysterious Jennifer”!
The theme of this episode was the question if the women had real friendship or Real Housewives friendships.
Tamra and Shannon weren’t the only ones asking that question.
I genuinely thought that Gina and Heather had formed a real friendship last season, and I wouldn’t have expected that Gina was the one to pull back from the friendship.
When Heather told Emily, Emily didn’t seem surprised.
Gina did the same to her in season 14 when she was going through something horrible, which makes me wonder if something happened between season 16 and 17.
Ultimate Girls Trip S03 Trailer Reaction!
Bravo decided to drop the trailer of RHUGT3 during Bravocon too, and while I only have the leaked videos of the trailer, I can see that it’s going to be another fun ride!
Honestly, the other women must be so pissed that this season was filmed in Thailand! Especially Vicki Gunvalson, who disliked the Berkshires.
I’m still confused about the group of women and what the theme of the trip is. Is it friends who has fallen out? What is the theme?!
Anyway, it’s clear to see that Candiace Dillard Bassett, Heather Gay, Marysol Patton and Leah McSweeney are dominating the trailer.
The villa concierge, Pepsi, didn’t seemed very fond of them, and while I would’ve felt awkward about the way he talked to them, the audience was laughing so hard!
Candiace confronted Porsha Williams about stealing another woman’s husband and that is exactly what I want to see!
Thank you, Candiace!
But the women also confronted Heather about her black eye on RHOSLC!
She claims in the trailer that she doesn’t remember how she got the black eye, and at this moment I’m ready to believe that nobody touched her.
If it’s going to be played out the entire season like “who punched Heather” only to never get an answer, I’m already over it.
I’m disengaging the bullshit.
But Heather also wanted to make Leah relapse on the trip!
Heather obviously wants to have a good time on this trip. She was butt naked in front of cameras!
And she must be aware of the anarchy that is a drunk Leah McSweeney!
Leah appears to deliver some good moments in this trailer, and while I should wait until see it all unfolds, I feel a little sad that she’s no longer on RHONY.
“You guys just gave me my period, thank you, does anyone have a tampon?”
There’s hilarious back and forth between the women, but the women are also fighting!
Candiace is arguing with Porsha and Gizelle Bryant. Heather and Whitney Rose are arguing about what went down in season 3 of RHOSLC.
This is going to be juicy!
Bring Jill Zarin Back to RHONY!
What a joy it was to have Jill Zarin back on my screen again! She was such a comic relief!
But she was also not shy of conflict. She’s still a drama queen.
She stood her ground with Dorinda Medley, and she was not afraid of her. I thought they were besties, but apparently they’re more like frenemies.
If Dorinda is returning to RHONY Legacy, then they should bring Jill back to the show too!
On RHUGT2 the women called Jill thirsty, and she is. She’s overdramatic, talkative, needy and messy.
But I think that’s highly entertaining behaviour.
How much fun wasn’t the women having with Jill too? It seems like people always must imitate her.
Bethenny Frankel did the same on RHONY.
Gosh, wouldn’t it be great if both Jill and Bethenny returned to RHONY Legacy? That would’ve been epic and accurate for the legacy of the show.
Sadly, Bethenny will never return to RHONY. She claims that Bravo can’t afford her anymore.
I want Jill back on RHONY, but she was allegedly a nightmare for the production.
And there’s always someone else to blame whenever she gets caught in her schemes.
When the news about the RHONY Legacy broke, she posted a comment tagging Andy Cohen and an emoji of a phone.
While the fans loved the comment, she claims that it was her daughter who posted it.
And with the mystery of Bobby Zarin’s funeral and why there was cameras there, she claims that an assistant had invited the cameras, not her.
I think she’s backpaddling because she received backlash for the scene.
I remember the reunion how the other women were harassing Bethenny for showing up with cameras and a mic to a funeral.
Andy supported Bethenny and specified that Jill had invited them.
I understand why Bravo wanted to show Bobby’s funeral on RHONY. Jill and Bobby were huge on the show and much loved.
Jill was eventually fired from the show because she was difficult and a diva on and behind the scenes.
And I think we can see signs of that behaviour in these cases.
