The wonderful autumn foliage colours of Rhus × pulvinata Autumn Lace Group (sumac). This is a spreading, suckering, deciduous shrub with decorate foliage and yellow-green flowers which are followed in autumn by spherical, bristly red fruit.

Left head: Cer. Enthusiastic and perky. Loves food, very friendly to people and physically affectionate.

Middle head: Burr. Stoic and strong type. Likes to exercise. Wary in general and hard to win over.

Right head: Rhus. Shy and sensitive. Likes to play video games, gets flustered easily around people.

Somewhat melancholy today. Drifting in and out of thoughts. Came across this shoot during lunch. If I keep going to these old shoots am I living in the past? Things were different then.
