What is your problem, Blue? His role-models could have been worse! It could have been.... Kasra or someone like that (DOES HE EVEN KNOW WHO THIS IS... probably not and it’s fine). So basically little Silvers rolemodels are a prostitute,  a rowdy and... and... I don’t know what to call Ri-Il. I don’t know what is worse, but I guess Ri-Il did tell Silver that he should not try to copy Lycrams lifestyle. Could be dangerous without regeneration and stuff. 

btw: I guess Ri-Il is a little bit flattered hehe ♥

If totally, absolutly necessarie, like in a really dangerous situation, I mean deadly dangerous... would Ri-Il openly protect Lycram and would Lycrams pride ever survive this?

Checked the "things I'd answer differently nowadays"-tag - and want to repeat a question! Original: Since you told me that his family is very important for Lycram I wonder what would happen if someone would kill Azzazello?

While I also can see the old answer (link) to happen, I thought about something different, when I’ve read my old answer while tagging all of these posts…

We all know Lycram as a demon who always acts. A demon that always is on a roll, never stopping, never breaking down, never, uhm, thinking before he get’s his head against the wall that he will surely break. But I thought… maybe not this time. In the sidestory “Nach Westen!” we see that Azzazello and Lycram has always been together, from the very start they have been un-separable. Azzazello is very important to him (note how he in DeA, in the chapters were Blue and Silver have been questioned about them not killing Green - that Lycrams thoughts run in another direction as soon as Azzazello starts talking and in two chapters there will be another, similar scene with them) and thus I can also imagine that something different could happen. What if this would paralyze Lycram? What if he for once could not just “go on and fight”? What if he for once would break down? As I’ve already said: Azzazello and he has always been together, always protecting each other - and if Azzazello would die it would mean that Lycram couldn’t protect him. In this sorrow and guilt I can actually see a Lycram that could loose his power and his will to go on and that not even the will to take revenge is strong enough to get him back on the fighting-way.

But when I see this, I also see Ri-Il. I see a Ri-Il who really has trouble with getting near Lycram (BECAUSE HE IS JUST NOT LIKE HE USED TO BE, NOT LIKE HE SHOULD BE?!?!?!?!) and I imagine that Ri-Il is actually not that good with… comforting. That he, at least in this area, is lacking social skills and I don’t think that Lycram would seek solace. So what can Ri-Il do? Actually I think he would also be affected by the dead of Azzazello - we’ve seen in “Deine Welt” that he asks Lycram how is family is going. Maybe he thinks that Azzazello is a kinda weak demon, but I guess he also finds him kinda sympathic and… you know, like a different, fresh air in the demon world. And then this demon, maybe the only demon that didn’t deserve to die, got killed???? So I see Ri-Il making a huuuuge plot of a revenge plan (while not neglecting his other duties of course), you know A RI-IL REVENGE PLAN. And then he would go to Lycram, presenting him the plan and assure that the plan does involve him bringing desctruction and death over that bastard who killed his twin and that the plan involves a slow and painful way to his death. This plan will assure that this bastard will regret his doings and that he will suffer. A lot. 

And they will do it together.

(so please stop whining… i cant stand seeing you like this… i cant)

If Lycram would ever find out that Ri-Il is able to read his thoughts, how would he react? And would it be funny to listen to his inner monologues trying to figure out all the times he might have thought something about Ri-Il that should make him blush? (Or all his desperate tries to not think those things anymore XD)

Okay, how would he react…? How would you react if you would knew that a person you constantly talked with could read your mind? Everything? I can only answer for my self, but I think that I feel very, very embarrassed. Like… he would see me naked all the time. And I guess with Lycram it’s not that different - especially considering his pride and his… ah, how to call this? His dishonest about his feelings. That he never talks open about what he feels and thinks… and on top of that… his…uhm… feelings for Ri-Il… that he does not really admit to himself, but sometimes thoughts just slide in (like the doujin I drew some weeks back, link here) and then he would hear THAT RI-IL WOULD KNOW ALL THAT?! FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK.

Actually I think that would give a looot of drama. And I mean serious drama. This… could actually ruin their relationship for good. And Ri-Il knows about this danger and Lycram is one of the biggest reasons for him so REALLY make SURE that noone knows about his mind-reading abbility. Then, let me tell you that his mind-reading is different then Nocturns. Nocturn can switch it on and off and he does not use it all the time (because headache and because he is no information maniac like Ri-Il… and to be honest he is psychically seen not “strong enough” for thus a thing), but Ri-Il can’t. It’s a huuuuge part of his way of being. So he keeps sure that noone - especially not Lycram - would ever know. 

Ri-Ils mind-reading is very active and visable in Opus Magnum. So let me give you an example! 

„Natürlich, Nocturn-san, aber zuerst…“ Ri-Ilstellte sich zwischen Nocturn und der Schiebetür, von einem Moment auf denanderen leicht bedrohlich wirkend, was Nocturn sofort nervös machte,obwohl Ri-Ils Tonfall alles andere als bedrohlich klang, eher… sanft undfreundlich, genau wie das Lächeln das seine Lippen umspielte:

„Es wäre mir eine große Freude, wenn du in meinen Anwesen und ganz besonders inZusammensein mit Lycram – derblauhaarige, laute Dämon – so wenig Gedanken liest wie möglich [… Spoiler…] Es wäre mir dennoch eine sehrdringende Bitte, dann du dir nichts von deinen Gedankenlesefertigkeitenanmerken lässt. Gedankenlesen sollte ein Geheimnis bleiben… Ansonsten müssteich dich nämlich noch einmal bewusstlos schlagen – und das wollen wir dochbeide nicht, oder?“

Nocturn schüttelte natürlich den Kopf. Es wäreauch dumm von ihm es nicht zu tun.

But in general I agree with the little picture (link) Tekuu drew: I guess it’s one of Ri-Ils greatest pleasures to read Lycrams mind - even those which are not positive about him, his anger about whatever Ri-Il did to annoy him… just the slightest thought. Maybe even when Lycram is not thinking about him, just being his anger, pissed self. UwU

Ri-Il knows a lot and I wonder if he knows something even we as readers are not aware off? And if so, can you give me a hint, what it is?

Oh yes, yes Ri-Il knows a lot and he knows a loooooooooot more then we readers do. I’m kinda sure he knows 90% (AT LEAST) of every political area of Henel and of course that’s a lot more then we know. But I guess you are talking about more… uhm… plot-relevant things? Stuff that has something to do with the characters we know? Hmn, what can I tell without spoiling to much… he knows who Nocturns parents are. Or at least he knows more then Nocturn do.

Is someone even able to destroy Ri-Ils plans? Or does he really always has a plan B or even C? ^^’

I guess he has the whole alphabet filled with plans xDDD ♥ no I really cant imagine that Ri-Il ever will run out of plans. That some of his plans will go wrong - yes, but I cant imagine Ri-Il without alternative plans.

Since Ri-Il is doing most of the things he did for himself, would he even make an alliance with the Wächter, if it would bring him whatever he wants/needs? (What the hell does he really want anyway?)

“What the hell does he really want anyway?” Good question xDD We’ll find out for sure, but that’s a part of the story which takes place a lot later then now. In generall this question is really good and I’ve actually never thought about that… As one of the few demons he would definitely see the advantage of such a alliance, and would certainly think about it, if it would give him advantages. But in the end I can not imagine that Ri-Il would do it. Ri-Il may not be the loudest demon when it comes to spread hate speeches about the Wächter, but I still don’t think that he is open-minded about the Wächter (but certainly friendlier than most of his fellows). I do not think he would obviously work with the Wächter on a friendly basis, but since he certainly would see the benefits, he would probably do it in secret. Surely Ri Il knows the benefits of the Wächter and their sociaty but I don’t think that he would NEED a open alliance to use them; he would know how to use them ♥

Why the hell will Ri-Il take Sibi from the warfield? (After Sibis Heart is broken bye whatever happened) In order to protect him? Does that mean he really cares for the boys?

I guess that is one of the biggest questions of Diabolus et Angelus… and all I can say is, that we will get an answer at the end of DeA since this is a theme I really want to look further in. Until now I can’t give you any more information about it, since I myself don’t know the answer yet! At the current point I’m not sure about Ri-Ils “feelings”. Ri-Il is on the one side one of the simpliest characters for me to write, but on the other side the most complicated….
