Freely Dancing Tomorrow
A charming yet enchanting entrance ~ Her eyes are reflected in a gold crown as still as the morning upon the mountains, only the wind softly calls to wake their precious fairies up.
Mei Mei is standing still in the center of the stage, in a pose that could only be compared to a painting of a being far above the clouds.
Everyone watches as she slowly moves her arms to stretch and awaken, the silk ribbons behind her, flowing softly yet actively as if they cannot wait to move.
Tigress leans in closer and she can feel Po at her side do the same.
The show is about to truly begin at dawn.
A bell tolls, a noise they all know too well to signal the start of the day.
The panda excitedly follows, curving her body as she moves around the wooden stage floor, showered in a soft glow of light as the tips of her feet barely tap the ground to make nary a sound.
She slowly opens a silk road with her beautiful red ribbons that are neatly tied around her, and Tigress can’t help but watch her paws.
‘She has so much control…’ Tigress couldn’t help but think as her eyes wandered over her hanfu, the way the jewelry at her sides was the only noise beyond the music they could hear. She absentmindedly tries to mimic those movements. ‘There straighter than the tiger style maybe similar to Crane style…or Mantis?’
Deep down she wanted to know where this satin road led to.
The drums clashed together in unison as Mei Mei continued to almost float around the stage before her ribbons started to circle and she felt a sense of peace at that imagery.
She could hear all of the “wows” and “Ah!” at her side as Mei Mei was enveloped in a sea of red and gold ribbons before it all came to a standstill once again.
As the ribbons returned to the earth on their journey to a place beyond her imagination.
The fairy had gone to sleep and so too, had the breeze.

One of my favorites types of dancing I can appreciate is ribbon dancing it is one of my favorites
and I realized one of my OCS meilin would definitely be into it so I drew it
I honestly love this drawing and may do more of like lmk characters or my ocs doing type of dances
