Red Currants
29/7/2020
I’ve been working on my summer job lately so I didn’t have much time to post but last weekend I went to a friend’s house and I took some cuttings of her Forsythia. When I came home I planted them.
First I filled a pot with potting soil for cuttings and seedlings. Then I took the twigs and cut them as can be seen in the third and fourth photo. Then I put them in the soil with the remaining leaves just above the ground. Thereafter I watered them. Let’s hope they start growing soon.
My cuttings from last year are growing really fast, it’s amazing to see
These are rooted cuttings of Clematis, Ribes rubrum, Ribes nigrum, Ribes uva-crispa and grape vine. Later this summer I’ll also plant cuttings of my herbs
