If you learned to drive in the 1980 or 90s then you have heard the name RICHARD COX! He was one of if not the first person who made a career out of teaching people to drive defensively in Barbados. If you attended Cox’s School of Defensive Driving then you were taught well. He would not take you in for your Driver’s License Test if there was any chance that you were not ready. Mr. Cox spent over 30 years as an advocate for road safety and made a valuable contribution to our society. It is with great sadness that we learned Mr. Cox passed away yesterday morning after suffering a brief illness. HighJump#4!  We’ve moved on from people talking to an explosion and a hole in the ground. Progress? :) Here you can see one of my go-to storytelling techniques with the repeated panels. I'm not sure who to blame, probably Frank Miller or Akira Kurosawa.

But one thing you can tell here is how in the top 2 panels it can be used for a sudden, jarring effect while at the same time, in the bottom row, I'm slowing things back down with it.  So it's definitely versatile.
