PERCY JACKSON FANS HELP
WE NEED TO GET RICK RIORDAN TO MAKE THE NEW VERSION A CARTOON.
Not like a silly one that Disney usually puts out but like a more mature version like Avatar: The Last Airbender. Hit all the funny, silly, slapstick humor that children love but add more themes that make it relatable to teenagers and give wild fantasies to young adults. A story made into a movie like this when done correctly could totally rival AtLA and possibly, even Harry Potter.
It would give us everything we needed! The fighting action, the fantasy lands, the death defying adventures, and not to mention the actors wouldn’t have to worry about being in (hopefully) FIVE FULL movies. We could have chapters be episodes! Our biggest issue with the movie was the pacing and their struggle to keep the story. I know that we can’t include every detail, but come on, some things were too important to miss.
(and don’t even get me started on how they wouldn’t be able to continue onto the Heroes of Olympus series by trying to have the same actor playing Percy continue to look as though he’s in his mid-teens? He’d definitely look different after 5+ years of filming)
