So I’ve adored Gerald McRaney for YEARS and YEARS and I was alone in this UNTIL This Is Us premiered and suddenly EVERYONE loved Dr K and I’m just here like “yes! It’s about time he got the recognition he deserves!” And then he won and Emmy and I’m like “YES FINALLY THE RECOGNITION HE DESERVES”
He’s been an amazing actor since the 80s in Simon and Simon. There was a specific episode of Simon and Simon called I Thought The War Was Over. The episode was nominated for an Emmy but didn’t win, which is an injustice. If you can, try and find it and watch it. It’s absolutely phenomenal.
