In 1994 Texas released ‘Fade Away’ as the fourth and the last single from their album ‘Ricks Road’!

As there’s very little info about it, I believe the single was released as a promo only for US and Germany.

From ‘Ricks Road Music Book’:

Their new producer Paul Fox - the band had liked his work on 10,000 Maniacs and The Wallflowers - was responsible for Sharleen’s favorite moment from the Bearsville session. He touched on that Texas sence of history as, unexcitingly it seemed, he introduced a ‘backing singer’ to harmonise on a tack called ‘Fade Away’, Sly Stone’s sister Rose. Cue endless conversations about how The Family Stone recorded Family Affair, Dance To The Music and so on.
