Look, I know some folks in the world of organized crime*...and they're utter bastards that rely on force and brutality and exploitation of the weak for personal gain, but I think they would vomit if they were lumped in with the Trump cadre under the same organized crime umbrella. this is my theory because two of the dudes they got on money laundering, a RICO predicate crime, and everyone is talking about Trump having committed obstruction of justice - ANOTHER RICO predicate crime. Also, if this is the case, and Trump pardons himself or any others involved, well Trump won’t “get away with it” because once you are pardoned, you have admitted guilt so you no longer have 5th Amendment privileges, so when questioned under oath YOU HAVE TO ANSWER completely and honestly (if not that’s a whole different set of charges)... and the State of New York has it’s own RICO statutes and the Attorney General of New York, Eric Schneiderman, is more than happy to take over all the evidence and data from Müller and prosecute Trump in State Court. And these are impeachable offenses. Also wit the RICO statute:
“it allows the leaders of a syndicate (Trump and his inner circle) to be tried for the crimes which they ordered others to do or assisted them in doing, closing a perceived loophole that allowed a person who instructed someone else to, for example, murder, to be exempt from the trial because they did not actually commit the crime personally”
